I know you folks haven’t heard much from me in a while, but it’s been for the best of reasons: I’ve been writing like crazy! And drawing (more on that, later). Now, at last, my latest book is done and available!
Not a horror story, but an adventure of espionage and conspiracy, "Huang Zhou" takes us to the Far East of the Nineteenth Century where a young boy becomes indoctrinated into a secret society. After losing his family to invaders, he realizes he cannot rely on the old ways alone. He embraces Western technology and innovation—so that he might use it against the West!
No, it’s not horror, not technically, but this series does crossover with my other horror series. Huang Zhou has already appeared in the third book of my Legend of Frankenstein series: Monster of the East.
Fans of steampunk, secret societies, and a willingness to explore other cultures will love this collection of stories. Book 1 also features the related tale of an Indian rajah who takes on the British Empire during the Sepoy Rebellion of 1857. If you love action, adventure, espionage, and intrigue, this one's for you.
