William Cooper Hi Sarah, i have a thriller. What do you think?

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

My email is [email protected]

Summary:

It was just a link in an email. Michael Housen is living a typical, white-collar American life at a security company when he falls for a phishing campaign with dire implications. One click, and suddenly the US is under marshal law and bombing Tehran. Michael unknowingly triggered a cyberattack by Iranian hackers, which a belligerent President Davis uses as pretext for war against Iran. Michael blinks and he and his wife, Pam, are thrown into private prisons owned by the president, a multibillionaire tycoon. This ordinary couple suddenly must answer a harrowing What do you do when the enemy of the state is you? And they find themselves cooperating with extraordinary partners, from right-wing militias to Iranian documentarians, as they work to clear their names and stop the global conflict that Michael set off with an unwitting click. Written by a renowned cybersecurity attorney and a bestselling author, A Quiet Life is a cyberthriller for the times that we all live in, and how we can lose everything on the strength of a lie. And how once we start fighting back, we cannot stop.

Kezia Kos | 15 comments Hello Sarah,

do you like family drama?

I am currently working in the third book of the series and I need both Reviewers for the previous two and ARC readers for the third one.

Please contact me if you are interested to read about gossip, family drama, betrayal and a nosy family with all types of mental diseases you can possibly imagine.

Summary in Amazon:

Corporate worker-bee Kez has finally achieved her lifelong dream of living in Europe, having put behind her at last a myriad of family problems: a narcissistic mother; a chronically ill father; a schizophrenic brother and the dark, intrusive memories of a kitten-murdering grandmother.

But life has no intention of letting her sit back and take a breath - oh, no - because, once again, her family needs her. She flies six thousand miles back to Brazil with her manager, Max, who witnessed Kez having a panic attack upon hearing the news that her father was dying.

As the vigil in the hospital stretches into the night, she tells Max her family stories leading up to the day her mother destroyed their relationship. During the deathwatch, Kez tells Max about her humble family origins in Pernambuco and her last assignment working abroad as a Tourist Consultant in the hot sands of Dubai. She exposes in great detail the intricate balance of power between her nosy-but-well-meaning relatives, her narcissistic mother, her sick father, her schizophrenic brother and how in the end she is forced to choose between her dreams of a future in Europe or the nightmare of her mother's endless online scams.

From the cotton plantations in Pernambuco and the terra roxa farms at the edge of the Paranapanema river, to the corporate offices of Sao Paulo and Frankfurt, with a brief stopover on the South Bank of London, KINTSUGI explores Kez's rich family history up until the moment her family implodes.

Mae (inactive due to school) | 5 comments Sadly, I’m only on my draft 2 rewrite, but am interested if you’d still be willing to give my debut novel a try once it’s finally finished?
I can keep you posted on updates, and will try to finish it quickly.
I made myself a deadline for my first draft and was successful, and my new deadline for the 2nd draft is I hope to get it finished by November of this year. Should it be done by then, I might be able to publish it and release my first book in hardcover to send to you as quickly as possible.
I know that’s sort of far out too, but you can message me if you’re interested, and I can send you my current blurb (it will undoubtedly change as the story does with the new draft), and we can discuss further :)

Serena Stoll | 1 comments Hi Sarah,

I have a romantasy series called Sealed with a Kiss which allows readers a lot of choice: you can choose which male lead to fall in love with, and also choose between NA or YA.

Synopsis: The Royal Academy of Magic is the epitome of schooling for Mages and Guardians who train for the honour of defending the realms. It is their role to protect common Middlings from Demonic Creatures, allowing them to live in ignorance and peace. Aurora Thomas, an aspiring Mage, finds herself accepted into the Collegiate level of the Academy. She must navigate integrating herself into a new world, forming relationships, and sealing a temporary bond with a Guardian, all while uncovering secrets that will turn the Empire upside down.

Choose between four suitors in this otome game inspired style. Readers can experience Aurora’s destiny with different partners. Find out how one choice can change not only aspects of her personality, but how she handles certain obstacles.

I currently have 2 of the 4 suitors out for a YA version (saw that you prefer to avoid smut).

Uduak Smart | 21 comments Please read the Introduction of my book titled " The Favored Maid" and tell me if you would like to read the full book.

In the heart of Australia, amidst the bustling city streets and verdant countryside, there existed a tale as old as time—a story of resilience, ambition, and the unbreakable bonds of family. It was a tale that had been whispered in hushed tones for generations, passed down from parent to child like a cherished heirloom, its details embellished with each retelling until it had taken on a life of its own. And though the names and faces may have changed over the years, the essence of the story remained the same—a testament to the enduring power of the human spirit to overcome even the greatest of adversities.
At the center of this tale stood a young girl named Aliana, her story woven into the fabric of the Smith family legacy like a delicate thread in a tapestry of dreams and aspirations. Orphaned at a young age and left to fend for herself in a world that had often been cruel and unforgiving, Aliana had weathered the storms of uncertainty and hardship with a grace and dignity that belied her tender years. And though her path had been fraught with challenges and obstacles, she had faced them with a strength and determination that had earned her the admiration and respect of all who knew her.
But it was not until she crossed paths with Mr. Kelvin Smith—a wealthy and generous man with a heart of gold—that Aliana's life truly began to change. Mr. Kelvin had seen something special in the young girl, a spark of greatness that burned bright despite the darkness that threatened to engulf her. And so, he had taken her under his wing, welcoming her into his home and his heart with open arms, determined to give her the chance at a better life that she so rightfully deserved.
Yet, as fate would have it, Aliana's newfound fortune came with its own set of challenges, chief among them being the resentment and jealousy of Mrs. Cynthia Smith, Mr. Kelvin's wife. Though Mr. Kelvin had welcomed Aliana into the family with open arms, Mrs. Cynthia viewed her presence as a threat to her own status and privilege, relegating her to the role of maid and treating her with a coldness and disdain that cut deep.
But Aliana was not one to be deterred by the petty grievances of others. With a resilience born of years spent navigating the treacherous waters of adversity, she had set out to prove herself worthy of the trust and confidence that Mr. Kelvin had placed in her. And prove herself she did, rising through the ranks of the household with a grace and poise that left even her harshest critics in awe.
As the years passed, Aliana grew into a woman of remarkable talents and abilities, her intelligence and drive surpassing even that of Mr. Kelvin's own children. She proved herself to be a capable and dedicated assistant, accompanying Mr. Kelvin on his business dealings and using her extraordinary abilities to help the company thrive in ways that no one could have imagined.

But it was not until the untimely passing of Mr. Kelvin that Aliana's true mettle was put to the test. With the fate of the company hanging in the balance and Mr. Kelvin's children showing little or no interest in their father's legacy, Aliana stepped forward to take on the mantle of leadership, determined to honor Mr. Kelvin's memory and build a future for the company that he had loved so dearly.

And so, with courage and determination, Aliana forged ahead, navigating the complexities of business and marriage with a grace and poise that belied her tender years. Alongside her husband, Canny, she faced the challenges of running a company head-on, using her wit and intelligence to overcome even the greatest of obstacles.
But it was not just in the boardroom that Aliana's influence was felt. Through her philanthropic efforts and commitment to giving back to the community, she made a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals, proving herself to be not just a capable leader, but a compassionate and empathetic one as well.

As the years passed and the Smith Corporation continued to thrive under her leadership, Aliana looked back on her journey with a sense of pride and fulfillment. She had overcome every challenge that had been thrown her way, rising from the ashes of adversity to become the beacon of hope and inspiration that she was today.
And though the road ahead may still be fraught with challenges and obstacles, Aliana faced the future with a sense of optimism and determination, knowing that with her unwavering courage and the support of her loved ones by her side, there was nothing that she could not achieve.

For hers was a story of triumph and resilience—a tale of a young girl who had risen from the ashes of adversity to become the favored maid of the Smith family, and in doing so, had changed the course of her own destiny forever. And as her story continued to unfold, it served as a reminder to us all that no matter how dark the night may seem, there is always hope to be found in the light of a new day.
