Liz (liz_the_librarian) Happy Tuesday! I'm a day late this week because I was flying across the country yesterday. I did get a lot of reading done during my travels, though!

I'm about 3/4 of the way through The Girl on the Train. I had to pick it up after hearing about it constantly from every book outlet imaginable. The audiobook has great narrators. The book is making me pretty angry because none of the main characters are very nice people, but I can't put it down; it hooked me from the first chapter.

I finished the first two books in the Never Sky series: Under the Never Sky and Through the Ever Night. They've been quick, fun reads so far.

I'm not sure what I'll be reading next, but I always like hearing about what you are all reading! So share away!

Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) by Veronica Rossi Through the Ever Night (Under the Never Sky, #2) by Veronica Rossi The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

Chris Francis (snowtiger64) | 45 comments I finally started Mercenary Instinct, as my first Romance novel. It's a little cheesy, but reminds me a little bit of Firefly. I'm only about 10% into it, but it's holding my interest enough to keep reading to see what happens. I'm also listening to The Maze of Bones. I suppose YA audio books that I've picked up from some Humble Bundles might be one of my guilty pleasures. Sometimes I like reading mysteries that don't require deep thinking.

Vivian | 54 comments I'm like you! I finally bought the ebook of Girl on the Train because I've heard so much about it. hopefully I will get to read it this week.

Ann (ann-fracturedfiction) | 516 comments I read a steampunk mystery written by a friend of mine and her husband: Bronze Gods by A.A. Aguirre. Good book, interesting story, well written. I'm going to read Stardust (it's a library book), and then dive into book 2. I'm also listening to Neverwhere by Neil Gaimon, read by the author. I don't always stop at a good spot, but I've been able to follow along for the most part.

Julie | 130 comments I finished Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth last week, and since it was available I'm now listening to Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian.

I'm almost done with Jodi Picoult's The Tenth Cirlce, and have started reading The Glassblower.

If I can finish a few books this week I'll actually be caught up!

The Battle of the Labyrinth (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #4) by Rick Riordan The Last Olympian (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #5) by Rick Riordan The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult The Glassblower by Petra Durst-Benning

Ingrid Hurst (bookrdr) | 285 comments I'm at the beach & reading Area 51 Nighstalkers. It's scifi & so far I really like it. It's a series. I am almost finished with Brave New World on CD, but had to put it on hold since we have had the kids in the car so much during spring break.
I read Starstruck, bu Alice Ward, for something easy. The main character smoked pot through the whole book, which wasn't my cup of tea.

I just finished the fifth volume of the new 52 Batgirl comics. It was pretty decent- I liked the artwork. Now I'm working on "Meet Me in Atlantis" which is one man's journey to find the hidden city and "Buzzed" which is all about drugs (the psychology student in me could not resist).

Liz (liz_the_librarian) Buzzed sounds pretty interesting, Joanna. Let us know how it is. I'm always looking for good nonfiction to get engrossed in.

I finished The Girl on the Train, and was left with a weird mix of emotions. I loved the narrators, and the pacing of the audiobook. The story had me hooked, and I was guessing the whole time as to "who-done-it" and why the main character was considered an unreliable narrator. Still, I recommend it to anyone who likes thrillers.

message 9: by Pattie (new)

Pattie Babbitt I just started Pride Prejudice and Zombies to complete the zombie book box on the bingo card. I will be glad to complete this particular challenge. Hey, I am reading it outside while my kids are riding bikes...can I count it for that square as well?

I don't see why not! There aren't too many rules on the BINGO card, other than have fun and read some great books!
