good writer, you can definitely see how alienated he was and how much internal turmoil he had within his work

The trial is an incredible book. It dives into the almost scary labyrinth of bureaucracy, which is still a huge issue in Europe. A man is blamed for a crime without even being told what the crime is and is consequently not able to defend himself.

It’s actually so upsetting he destroyed a majority of his work, though I’ll definitely appreciate what we have of his 😕🫶🏻

I haven’t read a lot of his stuff but I adore the general critique of losing individualism/humanity through work that he portrayed in the metamorphosis

This man somehow managed to translate my deepest feelings the closest they could be into words. Forever grateful for him. RIP Kafka you would've been shocked to know how much influence you've had on us and on literature as a whole.♡🥀
