Beyond Reality discussion

I just picked this up from the library, so I will be joining in for this read.

I’ve got it on hold at the library so hopefully my loan comes in before too long!

Finished reading it a few days ago. Cute, I enjoyed it, but I also felt it a bit mixed up in tone.

Started. Cover looks light, prologue felt darker... not sure where we're going with this.

Btw, I recently read the author's A Fine and Private Place which is also both light and dark, funny and serious. I guess to reflect real life?

I just checked and I'm #22 in line for the loan. Might be a while. :(

I am dying to start this; it's been sitting on my shelf, waiting for August. But now I'm traveling for the next three weeks, and I don't want to carry a physical book. I'll just have to be patient ....

I persisted, and am glad that I did. Almost done, though, so more comments will be in spoiler thread.

My library loan FINALLY came in on this one so I'll start it soon!
