I've enjoyed what I read so far. Vix being an alien and a bit different is super cute, but it does get a bit annoying at times.

Travis trying to avoid having Vix around other people was bad. Kinda mean even.

I think we have to really suspend our disbelief here--having someone as completely out of this world as Vix, no matter how sweet and cute, just wouldn't work (never mind that NO ONE in the real world actually fake dates stranger) and that yes, Travis was kind of a jerk.

But I'm willing to go with it so far, because it's clearly just a fluffy little story.

The thing I don't understand is whether or not Vix is actually communicating with the vacuum cleaner on some level. Like, he dressed him up and talked to him and took him everywhere, but did he think Ph-IL was sentient? I honestly didn't get that part, and I felt like that needs to be made clear.

I still have to get to the epilogue, but I also thought that when Travis traveled to him was a bit ott...and that's saying a lot since this entire book is that way.

I've got 25% of my next book to finish and then I'll back track to finish this one. I should get it done today.

I didn’t mind the OTT, because, as you say, the whole thing is OTT, but I couldn’t quite get on board with the logistics of it all, and the sheer luck of having a co-worker who was also an alien.

Speaking of logistics, Vix’s penis was basically a tentacle that ejaculated?

ETA that I’m going to eat cookies with my daughter and prep for class and will finish this tomorrow and then start Forbidden Romance.

I finished at last! That was a very sweet book, but boy howdy did it strain credulity.

OMG I know right. It was cute, but I had to suspend reality a lot.
