I hope to find a good balance between reading, posting, sleeping, and moderating. It is challenge that keeps the old brain firing. Dewey's helps my brain feel younger, more capable ⭐

I'm also trying to incorporate youtube videos into my readathon plans this time, trying to make short updates, which is tricky for me, as I tend to ramble and my usual videos run pretty long.
I'm hoping to finish 5-6 books, and to stay awake and reading/listening to audiobooks for all 24 hours.

I also ramble as I don't plan out what I'm going to say before I start the recording. Still learning the ins and outs

It is supposed to be a beautiful 75 here today. I am going to be out in my hammock later.
I will talk Bailey dog on a few walks and listen to some audio books.

#1 I want to read at least 1000 pages. I tend to be a mood reader and switch between books so I don't always track by books finished during a read-a-thon & find total pages read a better goal for me.
#2 I want to beat my personal "actual time spent reading" record for Dewey's. My previous record was set back in 2020 with 16 hours of ACTUAL time spent reading. So I want to get at least 16 hrs and 1 minute this time.

This is my second time participating in the Dewey's Readathon -first was many years ago- but I am excited to be back.
For this second hour, seeing as we are all just getting started still with the readathon, I am curious to know what your plans/goals are for the day.
I personally am filming a youtube video and playing different "games" to select my next reads throughout the day. I'll have a few things come up that take me away from reading but I am eager to succeed in making it through the whole 24 hours
