annabelle | 622 comments the prison healer trilogy! it's young adult and no spice, just some kissing. it's not anything crazy but I loved it honestly. also the Medoran chronicles (same author) are fairly good, I gave them all around 4 stars. it doesn't really have romance until the later books tho and not much so the prison healer series is better. I've also heard an enchantment of Ravens, the isles of the gods duology, and dance of thieves duology are good and have romance subplots and good world building >3
hope this helps!

Scout (shouta aizawa’s version) ੈ✩‧₊˚ | 781 comments Lightlark - Alex Aster
The Serpent and the Wings of Night - Clarrisa Broadbent
The Prison Healer - Lynette Noni
Once Upon a Broken Heart - Stephanie Garber
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue - V.E. Schwab

Timeea (thebookfaereads) Emily Wilde's trilogy- So good and fun! Cozy romance and plot, but still really entertaining.

Red Queen- high fantasy x sci-fi. The characters are so complex and although cliche, it's a great series. My all time fav (tragic) character is in that book and he held the title for 4-5 years now ;(

OUABH- REALLY tropey (not derogatory) and SO so fun!!! Fav romantasy ever! The first 2 books are perfect. Book 3 was disappointing af compared to them and lacks a lot (it's not a 4 even if I'm indulgent while the first 2 definitely a 5 star and more)

Jabotikaba | 502 comments You might like Chimeras of Estmer by Heather Marsh. There is really great world building and subplots that weave together like strands in a braid and three different romances.
But the book is very slow-paced in the beginning and there's a lot of description of clothes, landscapes and food. That's fine for me, but I'm not so sure about other readers.
I think you might also like Royal Bastards by Andrew Schvarts and The Mylena Chronicles by Chloe Jacobs and The Jewelfire Trilogy by Freda Warrington.
I would also recommend Midnight in Everwood by Maria Kuzniar. The book starts in Edwardian Britain, but soon the main character is magically transported to the fictional world of Everwood. Unfortunately, it has the same problem of a slow-paced beginning and long descriptions of pretty much everything.
