I could probably do Jonathon After All, Just Bromantically Invested, Jaded, Kala, Keeper of Lonley Sprirts...if I can get help fitting them into my solar system challenge too. Pretty Please. :)

Ok. I'll do those two for sure then. I've got my initial list (except Joy), but i expect it will change once the hunt categories for august come out.
I'll probably read Join The Club and Julien for funzies since i really enjoy those books and they work for my spell outs.

Ok. I was able to re-use all but two on my Solar System Challenge.
I'm reading this for High Fantasy The Sun Blessed Prince. Amanda I saw you shelved this...did you want to BR? I get BR points for Solar system too.

I did a quick search for "eat" and it was in there 13 times with some reference to "flesh-eating necromancer", so....

Well done jackie for finding all those Js to work with Travel/ adventure ...ive found 1 & Kirsten 2 ...its so hard
Totally Mixing Challenges here, but this is my current planned reading for August. I was able to duplicate a lot between my three big monthly ones so I actually have time for fun reading this month. I'd BR any of these:

Malum Discordiae- Hunt, Solar System, BookQuest
Julien - Hunt, Solar System
Meeting Mr. Adorkable - Hunt, Solar System, Book Quest

I still have a few places in Solar System to complete, but this is a good mix for me of have to read, want to read and re-reads. I'm actually not dreading this month right now. But who knows what my hunt points will look like. I just don't care.

Sorry, I guess that OR is confusing. The spirit of the task is to read a book that was originally written in a language other than your first (or only), and was translated
Whats everyone one else doing ..can we use this for a team read ??

Not playing SH has been very good for my mental health.
I'll do a BR of Just Bromantically Invested with you, Lisa, but not for the challenge, like I did with Janine for Jackdaw this month. It's been on my tbr for ages and it looks like a quick read. I'll take a look at MD and see what I can find with it and maybe do a swap.

Ok, ill join in then

A Kiss for the Holidays
Jack Finch Believes in Ghosts
Jack of Thorns
Jordie and Joey Fell from the Sky
Just for the Cameras
JUST for the Holidays
Kacey: The First Premise

Requested the BR. Included Malum Discordae, Just One Day and Sun Blessed Prince to my list above.

Bonus Genre: Science Fiction
This month we’re turning our attention to the natural world and the many ways it weaves into storytelling. Here are your prompts to guide your reading:
• Read a book where nature takes the center stage.
• Read a book exploring the relationship between people and the environment.
• Read a book that deals with environmental challenges or changes.
• Read a book featuring a character deeply connected to the natural world.
• Read a book where nature influences the story or the characters’ choices.
• Read a book that touches on sustainability or alternative ways of living.
• Read a book with characters advocating for or protecting the environment.
• Read a book imagining a future shaped by ecological or environmental shifts.
• Read a book with outdoor adventure or exploration at its heart.
• Read a book where wildlife, landscapes, or ecosystems play a role.
🌎 But here’s the fun part: books don’t have to look like they fit at first glance. If you frame your reading through the lens of “how nature or the environment matters,” so many genres can work. For example:
✨ Contemporary Romance (Beach Read by Emily Henry)
Even in an urban or beachy romance, if the natural setting influences the characters’ growth or serves as a symbolic escape, it fits!
Prompt match: #1, #5, #9
✨ Dystopian Sci-Fi (Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel)
Post-apocalyptic survival stories are inherently about humans reconnecting with or adapting to the natural world.
Prompt match: #3, #5, #8
✨ Magical Realism (The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern)
The circus may be magical, but its ties to seasons, plants, and landscapes let nature subtly shape the story.
Prompt match: #1, #5, #10
✨ Cozy Mystery (The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith)
Set in Botswana, the environment—the landscape, climate, and wildlife—becomes inseparable from the story’s tone and culture.
Prompt match: #1, #2, #10
🌱 Basically, if the environment plays a role in character choices, plot, or theme, it counts. From romance to mystery to sci-fi, nature finds its way in everywhere—you just have to look for it.

I'm good with that! They're audio too so wont get in they way of my too many arcs.

And I totally go for something different on Line 49 if we can find Sci-Fi and/or Title starts with M. I totally did not pay attention to that this time. :)
And really I'd switch out just about anything if we want to try a team read... maybe a murderbot story?
Jackie, I've only read the first one, so if you want to pick a prompt that fits for the second I could BR that with you...
