I read ouabh first because I felt like I wanted to read that more than Caraval. But I really liked the magic world..
So should I read Caraval..?

Caravel doesn't have the exact same magic world but if you liked her writing, I think you'd like Caravel.

I liked OUABH wayyyy more than Caraval, but I think it may be due to changes in MCs between the first and second/third book. Couldn't really connect with them. I think you can see the author's writing improving! If you liked Jacks, the third book had a really nice moment that made it worth it ish!

Ok so I originally started OUABH first and then ppl told me to read Caraval first. So I stopped and went to Caraval and finished that series before I read OUABH and honestly I hated Caraval. But LOVEDDDD the other two books in the series and OUABH is one of my top reads of the yr. So in my opinion if you read OUABH and are interested in Caraval you should 100% read it. But for me, I would have been content reading OUABH first and then picking up Caraval after I finished that trilogy
