Trisha | 1580 comments debbicat *I have Mayra now. Did anyone pick a date to read this one? Just downloaded."

yay! I have a whole slew of books to read before the end of the month. Is it okay if we wait until the first week of July?
7/7? 7/5?

debbicat *made of stardust* (cr8zycat) | 128 comments Yes! That’s good for me.

Trisha | 1580 comments Does anyone have Salt Bones by Jennifer Givhan and be down to read in the next couple of days?

I think my book subscription is going to pick it and I want to have it done before the books drop 😊😊

I just got Brigands & Breadknives Brigands & Breadknives (Legends & Lattes, #2) by Travis Baldree . It doesn't publish until November. I'll probably read it in late September / early October if anyone wants to buddy. I actually need to read the second one first. That'll likely be in August.

Jessie (Saffity) (saffity) | 62 comments Requested!!! Now to see if Tor still likes me, they gave me the new L.E. Modesitt book, but I've heard they can be stingy.

I hope you get it!

message 163: by Elyse (new)

Elyse (winesaboutbooks) | 1528 comments Legends & Lattes series is just SUCH cozy fantasy, I love it so much!

message 164: by Kristie (new)

Kristie | 2899 comments Mod
Elyse, did you request it?

message 165: by Elyse (new)

Elyse (winesaboutbooks) | 1528 comments I didn't because I'm already going to buy it so I don't need it early. I have The Broken Binding special editions of Legends and Bookshops so they'd better do Brigands!

message 166: by Kristie (new)

Kristie | 2899 comments Mod
Oh, nice! I'm guessing I will need to read Bookshops & Bonedust before Brigands because the characters carry over into this one.

debbicat *made of stardust* (cr8zycat) | 128 comments Anyone have the new Hester Fox book? A retelling of The Little Mermaid? I’m on the app. I’ll link it when I get home from errands. It looks really good!

YESSSS!!!! I've been wanting to read her and even bought a few of her novels, so I thought "why not read her short stories?"

I am planning to read it in September as one shortie per day.

debbicat *made of stardust* (cr8zycat) | 128 comments Oooo. I can’t wait til September. I have read a few of these short stories previously. The introduction by Stephen King is astounding. I am going to put this in front of some other books. Really bc I’m just so eager to read it. A discussion would be fun, even if it’s in September.
