A couple of months ago I started this list of narrators who I would listen to again. Some of them I already knew, but weren't they weren't listed, but this is what I've accumulated so far:

Narrators:
Sebastian York
Samantha Brentmoor
Eric Nolan
Jacob Morgan
Polly Stone
Tavia Gilbert
Alexis Paige
Grayson Owens
James Cassidy
Theo Sinclair
Lucy Rivers
Liam Dicosimo
Hollie Jackson
Mason Lloyd
Brittany Pressley
Julia Whelan
Austin Rising
Melissa Moran
Joel Leslie
Cassandra Campbell
Elena Wolfe

There are others that I've listened to in the past, but haven't since I started the list, so I want to make sure I still enjoy them before adding. The things that irritate us tends to change over time.

Tiffany Martin (tiffany_martin) | 125 comments Gustaf - you will lead our team on time!! We just hit midnight so it begins for me!! Who else I’d ready!!

message 54: by HeatherREADS (new)

HeatherREADS | 78 comments Gustaf - I was looking for books on everyone’s Read shelf to see what I could read for a reverse. I just picked up a copy of The Gay Best Friend from the library this morning. I hope I love it as much as you did!!

Tiffany Martin (tiffany_martin) | 125 comments Hey TEAM
When you complete your book(s) make sure to put the info on the team page and the date you finished it - Gustaf and I will check behind us (I check his and he checks mine) that it is on your UNO board as complete and that we put it on the official SS for others to see and we get points for the book. Feel free to put your planned books on the SS whenever it works for you - I put several on there due to my libby app and knowing this game was coming.

Mid month we will get a mini challenge that is always fun and helps us get even more points and the books count for the main as well - when we hear the mini challenge we will share with you so you can make plans with your books.

Respectfully,

Tiffany

Omg I was actually just thinking about that book the other day. I hope you enjoy it.

megan | 268 comments I added a non-fiction to the spreadsheet. Are the rules the same here as they are over at NBRC? Only the title and authors two names can be used toward UNO numbers?

message 58: by Tiffany (new)

Tiffany Martin (tiffany_martin) | 125 comments The rules are the same as fiction from what I understand!! Can't wait to see what you are reading.

I hope you all are doing well. I have finished reading My Dark Vanessa for 7 red card. Should I update about it anywhere? Also I see wild 4 still not taken. Can I read The Wife for wild 4?

Thank you!

Tiffany Martin (tiffany_martin) | 125 comments Hey everyone - just checking in on our first week of reading!! Man we have been zooming through the books!! Reminders - please put your books on the spread sheet and note where they fit - give all options - as we get to the end of all our hands we might need to adjust our books so they all fit!! We have 9 reverses to do - I just completed one and have one saved on the board - So check your books on others pages and see if it qualifies for a reverse. (someone else has read it - anytime)
Thanks for being so quick to post your books. Gustaf will check on each page to make sure that you have marked them read and on your UNO page!! I will check his page for us!! Let me know if you have any questions and I will try to find the answer!! Happy 1st week y'all.
TIF

*Soon we will have a mini challenge that goes with our monthly challenge (they can count for both - super fun times!!)

message 62: by HeatherREADS (new)

HeatherREADS | 78 comments Happy Monday everyone!! Hope you all had a great weekend! Anyone come across a 5 star book so far during the challenge?

Hi Tiffany - I added a wild draw 4 to the spreadsheet but I wanted to make sure the book I’m using is actually a wild draw 4. If I’m understanding correctly, a draw four duplicates a card with a color and a number? If so, Every Fall is a red 7 so I think it qualifies? Can you clarify for me?
Thanks!!

message 63: by Tiffany (new)

Tiffany Martin (tiffany_martin) | 125 comments That is perfect!! Thank you for adding it!!

Faith | 124 comments I have a question. I'm reading a biography and a lot of people are mentioned. I've only added significant people (parents, siblings, lovers, partners) to the spreadsheet. Can I use people that were mention once (Tippi Hendren)? More then once (Vivian Leigh 3 times)?

message 70: by Tiffany (new)

Tiffany Martin (tiffany_martin) | 125 comments On a Biography, You need to use the main person and significant ones - if they are just blips in the telling I wouldn't think that it would be fair - like you would not put the car wash dude named Bob down who was only mentioned in a single story but would put Brad Pitt who was in many chapters. I hope this helps.

Tiffany Martin (tiffany_martin) | 125 comments Those who have already marked books for Feb 14th (HaPpY VaLeNtIneS DaY!) please mark them in the mini as well- going to nail it down by Sunday Afternoon which ones work - so if they will work for more than one go for it and mark them and then we will adjust! So excited to see what all we do- BTW - we are killing it so far and have been in the top 5 most of the game!! I know it’s not a competition but I still like being in the top %!! Keep reading and let me know if you read something we all need to check out!! Of course all my Libby books have come in at once - feast of famine it seems!! Have a great weekend!! Off to cheer on one of my kiddos from our church in a dance competition!! ❤️Tif

HeatherREADS | 78 comments Hi Tif!

I have a cover color question. If I use TinEye, what is the minimum percentage to consider a cover that specific color?

Thank you!!

message 79: by Tiffany (new)

Tiffany Martin (tiffany_martin) | 125 comments 50% is the lowest - if there are more than one blue and it adds up to 50 or more it's good. Tiffany

message 80: by Tiffany (new)

Tiffany Martin (tiffany_martin) | 125 comments Good Morning from North Alabama - Hope all is well in the world for each of you!! How has a month almost ended with our game? We have several empty spots that need to be filled - please check in and make sure you are marking what you read. I updated the spread sheet where names go with the drop down list. I will set up March later this week!! We have new colored cards and skips are colored related and count as extra points - so go check it out when you have time while you finish up reading. If you can't complete something let us know so we can move some reads around - don't forget our Star Wars mini we are doing as well. I think we can get it all done. I am switching a couple of books to fill some in - please go mark yours if you can get them read. remember a book is 100 pages or more so if you want to find a shorter book that is cool too!! Thanks for all your reading and lets finish strong!! TIF -

Luke Skywalker
Princess Leia
Hans Solo
Yoda
Darth Vader
Jabba the Hutt
are the ones we have books on that are almost done - I will look tonight to try to nail down the ones that are not full - most of my books can move to another one if needed

message 85: by Faith (new)

Faith | 124 comments Where are we at for February completion? I can finish The Writing Retreat by Julia Bartz which would count for Z, T, H, F, I, V, K or P on February 28th. Or I can complete it on Sunday, March 2nd like I was planning.

I'm going trying not to start Reckless Girls by Rachel Hawkins until I finish "The Writing Retreat", but it's sucking me in. It should count for at least yellow 0.

Let me know if you want me to finish it on the 28th and I'll knock it out during my breaks at work.

Tiffany Martin (tiffany_martin) | 125 comments If you could get her done for The Writing Retreat - For I - 5 I will out it on the list

Tiffany Martin (tiffany_martin) | 125 comments Here are the final mini's that need to be completed. we are almost there everyone
Here is what we are missing on the minis:

Read a book with the word "gangster" in text. (Please provide location and sentence.)

Read a book with a gun on cover.

Read a book with a character who is royalty.

Read a book with a sword on the cover.
