Melanie (lovebeingvegan) | 13891 comments I have a spreadsheet for us to use, if we want to. Here's the link:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

I highlighted a few of the tasks that I think are tricky/difficult...

This is irrelevant, as I don't think we have to do all the tasks. Lol

Melanie (lovebeingvegan) | 13891 comments I found a book for "Read a book which has exactly 384 pages." and it is a review book I just got and plan on reading asap. 😊 Uneasy Street A Sweet "Enemies to Lovers" Romance (Sons of Scandal) by Becky Wade

Haley (haleymadd) | 2086 comments checking in!

so far that these books planned for this month
Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass, #3) by Sarah J. Maas The Dagger and the Flame (The City of Fantome, #1) by Catherine Doyle Check & Mate by Ali Hazelwood Hello Stranger by Katherine Center Murder Road by Simone St. James The Crash by Freida McFadden

** looks like The Crash can be covered for the difficult task: Read a book which does not have the letters 'O' and 'B' anywhere in the title, author's name, or series name (for avoiding 'OBstacles').

Abbie | 1355 comments Is there a way to search through the tags for “unique” I am reading red queen so was trying to see if that would work as only got 7 chapters lefts but there’s 100 pages of tags

message 18: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90931 comments Mod
You can also use 'Read a book that is part of a series.' for that description, so Red Queen would count that way. There isn't a quicker way to go through 100 pages of tags unfortunately x

nope, Goodreads doesn't make things easy 🤣

message 22: by Melanie (last edited Feb 02, 2025 07:24AM) (new)

Melanie (lovebeingvegan) | 13891 comments I think I now understand the rules better and we don't have to do ALL the descriptions to finish a round - just one from each of the four sections of each zone (16 books total). That makes things SO much easier and we probably don't even need a spreadsheet. 🤦‍♀️ Is that what everyone else gets from the rules? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

message 23: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Correct. I wouldm't worry about an SS. It is simpler than is sounds.

Melanie (lovebeingvegan) | 13891 comments Sarah Elizabeth wrote: "Correct ☺ Have you not done this one before Melanie?"

I think it's just been so long and I confused it with other challenges where we have to complete all the tasks. Lol! Thank you for an easier challenge. 😁

I find this really useful to have all the descriptions handy! Otherwise I have to scroll back together on the challenge thread that for whatever reason is refusing to load on my phone. Thanks for making it. :)

Yesha- Books Teacup and Reviews (booksteacupandreviews) | 722 comments Hi, Can The Partner Plot (The Greene Sisters, #2) be be considered for "book which has a colour in the title or author's name"?

message 38: by As You Wish (new)

As You Wish | 1867 comments @Yesha I would think so. ‘Green’ is spelled out

So this is why I haven't seen posts. I thought no one was posting! Been so busy with work I haven't even tried looking into it until now.

Susan (jazzescrapper) | 2605 comments Does everyone know there is a spreadsheet so we don't have repeat books. I was going off the spreadsheet but 3 or 4 of us all put in Aztec a book that starts with S. I would have put my book anywhere it was needed had anyone used the spreadsheet.

That sounded snarky but I promise it wasn't. I just know 3 of us could have put our books in other areas to help fill up the spots

I updated the list from the review thread. I know some have used it and some haven't, I try to check the review board and see where the next hole is that I can fill when I post, so I just tentatively commit to a category for a book in yellow. Some books just won't fit the missing category......

I was trying to fill holes on the spreadsheet not realizing not everyone is using the spreadsheet. I'm just saying some of the books read for that one spot probably could have filled other prompts and we could be closer to clearing this board. It's a little frustrating. Whoever made that AWESOME spreadsheet to help us out and not everyone is utilizing it.

I never was able to access it either when I used my phone so I get it. If I didn't use my laptop I wouldn't be able to see it either

As You Wish | 1867 comments If anyone has a book that will fit the Industrial Mystery category, that would finish our third board! We're doing so great

message 48: by Abbie (new)

Abbie | 1355 comments I’ve got one that works

Ive posted Broken Fae at 664 pages and I can post an edition of Warrior Fae at 676

I am on 70% so should finish it tonight as well x

message 49: by Haley (last edited Feb 22, 2025 09:59AM) (new)

Haley (haleymadd) | 2086 comments I haven't posted my recent finished books so I can take care of the Industrial Mystery Category :)

if you want to save yours abbie for another?

also from my understanding we don't have to complete every task on the spreadsheet as long as it's one from each category, because some of those tasks are MUCH easier to fill then others we can just complete those *if that makes sense*

message 50: by Haley (new)

Haley (haleymadd) | 2086 comments also I recently started The Favorites by Layne Fargo if anyone wants to BR?

& have this on my radar this week Murder Road by Simone St. James Cross My Heart by Megan Collins as my last few books this month
