Chapters 1-10 => (view spoiler)[I'm loving this one. God, I'm eating up Weston and don't even get me started on Emmy and Oliver. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 11-20 => (view spoiler)[I'm so rooting for these two, but I'm starting to get nervous there is going to be a third act breakup...

I'm not sure why I feel like that, but there are some sentences about her leaving and I feel like that's going to happen. Ugh...I hope not.

I also feel like Bree might cause an issue. I get the feeling that she was more emotionally involved than West thought. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 21-30 => (view spoiler)[I love these kids. Oliver buying her a bird book with his allowance!! Emmy giving her a bear talk after everyone is in bed because she didn't want to embarrass her. I love these guys together! (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 31-end => (view spoiler)[This book was everything I needed today! Gah, this was so so good! I hated that she left, but I understood what was going on. Yay for Ford knocking some sense in West! Seriously, I love this.

I just wish we could've gotten a better bonus epilogue. I liked the music, but I would've preferred to see something with them. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-10 => (view spoiler)[I feel bad for these two. Rhys clearly was told a lot of things that were untrue. I'm also curious why he never called Tabitha. I mean, I get that he was clearly told things that were untrue about her, but wouldn't he have picked up on things at some point???? (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 11-20 => (view spoiler)[I was curious how the wedding would come about. I was guessing it would be his Canadian citizenship.

I really hope these two have a conversation soon about the lies they were told by Erika. They keep skirting it. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 21-30 => (view spoiler)[I love Tabitha's support of Rhys. I really hope that Rhys stands his ground and doesn't let anything happen with Elle. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 31-40 => (view spoiler)[I'm so glad Tabitha read the journals. It finally moved this book forward.

I'm really curious to see how his work will come into play. I don't have good feelings about Elle. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 41-end => (view spoiler)[I love their ending. I definitely had some tears flowing. They both deserved this.

If I had to change anything, it's I wish that Tabitha would've taken HIS last name. I understand a little why the author went the route she did, but I think it would've had more punch for me had she taken his last name. And had him adopt Milo and give him his last name as well. I know I know, his mom died and she had that last name, but his mom wasn't the nicest and played some people and she's not there for us to get to know so I don't have a lovey feeling for her.

Chapters 1-8 => (view spoiler)[ I am LOVING this book so far. I'm so glad we start off right at the beginning, in the past, when Bash and Gwen first met each other and moved forward from that point. I just love the chemistry with these two. Plus the grumpy/sunshine are so on point in this one.

I love Bash. My heart breaks for him already. I want to give him a big huge hug.

I also really love Gwen. She will be perfect for Bash and I'm so ready for this ride. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 9-16 => (view spoiler)[ Leave it to Clyde to call out the tension in the room. I love him. I just can't see a way for these two to get through this with Tripp. I find Tripp to be an asshole actually. But I get why Bash is playing it the way he is.

I also love that Gwen broke up with Tripp immediately at the birthday party. Ugh...these two need each other in their lives! (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 17-24 => (view spoiler)[ I really don't like Tripp. God that kid is just awful!! He absolutely doesn't want Gwen for any other reason than she's the one that broke up with him. Plus he's really immature.

My heart is breaking for Gwen and Bash. I love them together. I get the hesitation and I'm trying so hard to figure out how they get passed all of this. He wants so badly to be choosed and loved. She does too really. I can't wait until they both finally see that they have that with each other!!! (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 25-32 => (view spoiler)[These two are fire together!!! Oh my God chapter 30 was HOT!! I know I sound like a broken record, but I love Clyde!!! I love how much he wants them together and doesn't care how he makes it happen lol!

Tripp is very aware something is going on, I'm just not sure how it's all going to blow up just yet. I hope that these two are strong enough to work through it! (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 33-end => (view spoiler)[ I loved this book. Like LOVED it!!

I hated Tripp for pretty much the whole book. I'm glad he accepted the relationship at the end, but by then I really didn't care.

"Everything from my Maya is in that house." 😭😭😭😭 I instantly started crying. Ugh...I hated that for Clyde.

"You're my limes, Bash. I'm the tequila." I seriously love these two so so much! This might've been my favorite, but I loved all the books in this series.

I absolutely loved Bash. God the words he said to confess his love to her...I seriously love him. This book hit all the marks for me today. I needed this one in my life. (hide spoiler)]

I'm glad you convinced me to read this! I'm still not over how much I loved this one!

I thought the Vancouver airport situation was hilarious! I've been in a very similar situation there because of a relatively small amount of snow.

(view spoiler)[Very glad that he wasn't aware that he had a son. Obviously, that's horrible, but it makes me feel better about the situation and him not being present because he literally didn't know about him.

I was really thinking that Tripp could potentially be a new character introduction for another book. But quickly thought, if she makes one about him I don't think I can read it. He's horrible! At this point I can't see what he could do to redeem himself.

I hate that he got the wrong number. I was wondering how the whole plot of Tripp being her ex would come to light. I didn't expect Bash to walk into Tripp's birthday party and for Gwen and Tripp to be dating!

His mother is absolutely horrendous and I hate that Tripp called him a deadbeat dad. That was heartbreaking!

Yay for Gwen taking a job in Rose Hill! LOVE THIS!

I am loving Bash more and more with each chapter. Him giving Clyde a kidney?!?! I love that she's moving into Bash's house to take care of Clyde! (hide spoiler)]

So I was messaging Jamie while reading this one and the only message I sent for chapter 20 is...(view spoiler)[Fuck Tripp (hide spoiler)]. I think this really covers how I was feeling throughout this chapter haha. I did not like the direction we were heading!

(view spoiler)[I want to murder Tripp. He's the absolute worst. I hate him.

Clyde however, I LOVE this man. He's hilarious and just called out everything he's seeing. It's amazing!

The tension between Bash and Gwen is unreal in this book. I've had a hard time in romance books, not feeling the chemistry between characters. This one has saved me! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Pretty much from chapter 37 and on I was losing it slightly. I hated that Tripp was there again and then of course we had to have a friggin forest fire.

I'm sooooo glad we didn't get a third act breakup! While the forest fire and her going to Clyde's house was scary (I definitely had tears in my eyes on more than one occasion), I preferred it over them splitting up because of something to do with stupid Tripp.

I LOVED this book. I loved the tension between Gwen and Tripp. I loved Clyde. I loved the flow of the book. Overall, I'm sooooo happy with how this book went!

All my same thoughts Brittni! (view spoiler)[ Clyde was such a great addition. I loved all his interfering. I loved how these three really became their own family. Clyde is really a father figure to them both but in different ways. All three of them dealt with so many people leaving them in their lives, but they are all there for one another.

This book will stay with me for a while. (hide spoiler)]

I did realize that the only thing that could have made it better was if Tripp's mother got a good talking to. She was horrible and I think Bash was going back and forth, debating whether he should message her or not but i can't remember if he ever did. She sucked! (hide spoiler)]

I neglected everything I needed to do today because I couldn't stop reading this book and it was worth every second! So glad we got to read it together!

I was wondering how the whole age gap and ex boyfriends dad was going to go. Its nice to see he's not super old just older than her. And its a son he's never known. Kinda makes it better.
Romance is starting off well. Instant connection so curious how he's going to find his way back to her and is he going to lose his son in the process. So far the son isn't great to me sounds stuck up.

Grace - I'm not sure what it was, but this book hit every mark for me. I was still thinking about it this morning lol.

Agreed Jamie! There was just something about this one that got me! It had everything I've been wanting in a romance book lately!

Bash is very nice to give Clyde his kidney, I'm not sure if I could do it for a friend. But then maybe you don't know till you're in that situation.
I was hoping they were getting somewhere but I get Bash's hesitation it feels weird to him but he did meet her first and he didn't raise his son..

Oh my god. I thought we were getting somewhere but Elsie Silver is a tease!!
The poker scene was fantastic.
I had to remind myself to breathe at the whole "next time you want to watch me, you should ask" didn't see that line coming oh my god.
Tripp is a dick. I didn't realise or pick up on he plays hockey i thought it was American Football but Hockey and this being a Canadian author makes more sense.
