Any Way the Wind Blows
question
Who else feels that there really should be a 4th book in the Simon Snow series?

I just recently finished reading the Simon Snow series. I did enjoy reading Any Way The Wind Blows, and it did tie-up quite a few loose ends, but I couldn't help feeling there was enough unanswered questions left to provide material for a 4th book. Who else feels that this is meant to be more than a trilogy? What would you still like to see elaborated upon? SPOILER ALERT, I will list what I wish to read more about below:

--> I would enjoy seeing Simon come back into his magic. Not in a chosen one capacity, as I understand the point of this series is 'what happens once you fulfill your destiny young?' I just feel like the way Smith-Richards accidentally ended up making Simon immune to magic eludes to magic in and of itself. Perhaps Simon's magic is on mute (can only be used defensively?) due to something involved with the ritual being performed on the night the Mage was killed? Maybe it had to do with Ebb's magic or her blood sealing something in him as he fought The Humdrum? Maybe Lucy enchanted him, when he was born, with a protection spell?
--> It's bothering me that nobody has told the British Wizards about what the American vampires are up to in Nevada/California.
-->Simon has his Grandmother Ruth and his Uncle Jamie to get to know, and other great aunt/uncles, cousins...etc.
-->The Salisbury sword- does it hold a key to both Simon's and Jamie's restoration of magic? Is the link to Merlin a clue?
--> The painting of Simon's mother in the catacombs wasn't mentioned to Ruth/Jamie. Why does it weep/eyes move? There is a part of me that hopes she only let The Mage think that she died due to complications after childbirth, and she found a way to preserve herself. Or she at least left a message inside the painting or something.
--> Simon still hasn't made the connection that the 2nd visitation in book 1 was from his Mother Lucy. It was never explained as to why she calls him her Rosebud Boy. Is that a Citizen Kane reference?
-->I enjoyed reading about the differences in how magic is affected by colloquialisms from other cultures via the British wizard vs the American wizard world, and I think it would be neat to see some other countries/cultures thrown into the mix.
-->Fiona? I want to know more about her. I feel like her hunt for nearness to her Sister had to be deeper than just a quest for possession of their Mother's wedding ring.
-->Agatha, and the Dryad referring to her as The Golden One. I feel like that has to be more than just a literal reference to Agatha's hair.
--> Shepard's possible 1st and 3rd born children need to get out from under dark contracts
--> I would like to see Baz/Nicodemus learn more about vampire culture/lore. Perhaps from Lamb- Maybe Lamb could need Baz's help, which would give him a chance to grovel for forgiveness for his betrayal of Baz (helping Baz in his fight with NowNext was a start, but not an official apology)
--> How does Penelope reset her gem heirloom? Ring? Amulet? Cuff? Tiara? I really wanted to hear her chew-out the Giant that helped himself to Shepard's 3rd born/helped him propose to a demon.
-->Lastly, I'd love to see further healthy milestones in Simon & Baz's healing and emotional growth/maturity. They're off to such a great start!
Looking forward to comments and additional bullet points being added to this list!
