I can't for the life of me read interconnected series. I picture side characters like distant characters (my brothers and sisters) and can't picture them anything else while I read their books. So I avoid them and read a random one from the series.

We listen and we don't judge. I've only found the ACOTAR series to be ok (on book 4). I've enjoyed other romantasy books more like One Dark Window and The Serpent and The Wings of Night.
