The Big Empty question

Like you all, I read a lot of different authors and genres. My favorite writers for Mysteries/Crime, Robert B. Parker, John Sandford, Michael Connelly, Lars Keplar and of course, Robert Crais. Like their writing style and quick reading. Need a couple of new authors in this style, not paragraphs of descriptions, but more about dialogue...
