Adam walks into the room with a bruise starting to form over his eye. Max can't help but smirk slightly at the sight of it

*She looks up, meets the gaze of her soon-to-be husband before looking away quickly*

Max holds her hand somehow even tighter. He want to tell her it will be okay, that he loves her but that would just make it even harder for them both

She's shaking as she take her hand away, not being able to do this if he was touching her

He keeps his eyes locked to the ground, trying not to laugh at how stupid it was. Or cry. Or punch Adam as hard as is humanly possible

Max watches them aswell and doesn't even realise when his hand slips back into hers

This time she doesn't let go, but instead brings it up and hugs it to her chest

He reaches across and pulls her into a hug, resting his chin on her shoulder

She cuddles herself into him, holding onto him tightly as she buries her face into his chest

He strokes the back of her hair and holds her closer

She tightens her grip on him when she hears her father calling for her, "Celeste, you're gonna come with us, you'll live with Adm from now on as his fiancée, your house will be sold to help with the debt, and your stuff will be brought to Adams' house" *Her father says*

She doesn't hesitate and throws herself into his arms, kissing him back desperately for the last time

He watches her walk over to her father and the boy who she was doomed to marry. As she walked away, he swore he would find a way to end this. He walks over to Adam once more "I will kill you if I find out you've even laid a hand on her" he says

*She leaves with her father and Adam sadly, glancing at Max one last time before getting into the car*

He watches her leave then walks back to his house in silence

*She stares out the window sadly as the drive past houses, eventually making it to a giant mansion at the top of a hill*

Adam smirks "welcome home bbg"

*She sighs and tries to walk away from him*

He grabs her hand

*She gasps as he pulls her close* "A-Adam..."

He runs a possessive hand through her hair but he gotta reach up to do it cuz he so short

Adams face gets thrown to the side "OW" he does a weird lil ballerina spin and falls over dramatically to the floor "OMG IM DEAD"

*She rolls her eyes and walks away, locking herself into her new room and curling up in bed, wanting to be with max more than anything*

Just as she's drifting off there's a loud bang on the front door

*She jumps and gasps, rushing out*

When she opens the front door, Max is standing there, slightly damp from the rain

"MAX!" *She rushes into his arms, sobbing before she even gets there*

He pulls her closer to him and kisses her

She melts and wants to pull him closer when a voice yells "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE! GET AWAY FROM MY BBG"
