Anyone read The Mask of Mirrors book series?

I read the first two and found them quite fun. The writing was good, and the world was very engrossing - sort of a Venetian vibe, with masquerade balls aplenty, wealthy merchant houses, and wily thieves.

The magical aspect, a sort of tarot card/mystic realm thing, was rather interesting and unique. At least I've never read of anything similar.

Haven't had a chance to pick up the third entry yet, but I do intend to.
