LOL. I hate it when I can't get the links to work! **grrr** I'm a little bit HTML challenged anyways though, so in my case its normally user error.

I've been a HUGE X-Files fan since about 1995 (though i gave up once Duchovny left the show in season 8), and I am SO freaking excited about the new movie.

I'll have been on LJ for... gosh, seven years on the tenth of this month. It's kind of hard for me to remember to post in my wordpress blog because I'm so used to spamming my LJ. :D

Amie, thanks for checking it out! It's still a work-in-progress, LOL! I'm actually trying to figure out who I'm going to shrink all of the monthly reading logs into one page so that I can start anew in 2009. I'm 'HTML' challenged *snicker*. A friend sent me Wordpress for Dummies for my birthday this year. She hoped I wouldn't be insulted by it, and I emailed her right away with a big thank you, LOL! The book has helped quite a bit.

And that's awesome! 13 books! It's 13 more books that you've read, and that's what counts. Sorry to burst your bubble, LOL! But then, that's the reason why my blog says bookaholic. It's what I am!

I'm a big Wordpress fan, too. I tried using Blogger and even have a blog there, but I never use it. I keep going back to my sweet, sweet Wordpress installation.

Gina, WOW! That's an amazing total! I'm at 70 (which reminds me, I really need to update my 2008 books posts on my LJ and my blog; I've fallen behind), but if it weren't for those pesky grad school classes, the total would be higher! Curse my desire for a higher education! It gets in the way of reading for fun! ;)

used to LJ (neatgrl) a lot and now I've started to fall out of blogging. I try to update my wedding website and go on facebook (i got wrangled in) and here. I think because I haven't updated my lj in a while that most of my lj friends have stopped paying attention to it.

Hi CJ, I blog on blogger, but I've heard wordpress is a great one too. It's hard to keep up on a blog--especially since I never want to post during business hours since the posts date/time stamp. Never know who's reading those posts and it wouldn't look good if it was my boss, lol.

Like your blog :) I don't like to update my blogs while at work either. I agree, everything is saved to a network and you never know who is watching.

I think after my wedding (and when I don't have to focus on updating it) I will get back into LJ or a personal journal (maybe wordpress....if you can do things to it like what you've done it's worth looking at).

Erin, if your boss doesn't mind his employees using the computer during your lunch and coffee breaks, I say go for it. I'm with wordpress, and even if I don't get to finish, I can save it as a draft and go back to it later, without having to 'publish' it. Plus, I work for/with my parents, so I have just a tad more leeway, but I actually prefer blogging from home. Hubby works nights 5 nights a week, kids are in bed by 8 (they have school the next day) and I can take my time and make it look the way I want. I've been using my blog for almost a year and I'm still learning new stuff. Besides laundry and dishes, it keeps me busy in the rare event I put a book down, LOL!
