Bobys | 12 comments Hey, lately i found myself not finding anything worth reading and i always circle back to the DRs i liked. I would like to make the hidden gems noticable. So please, follow my example and lets help each other out of the endless search for a fitting read.
The idea is to make quality seen.

Born, Darkly (Darkly, Madly, #1) by Trisha Wolfe
Born, Darkly & Born, Madly by Trisha Wolfe

Underratet with 3.64 stars
Why should you read it?
- Its like the lovestory of Harley Quinn and Joker
- MC is manipulative, FC is intelligent
- Instead of guns or knives: Torterous death traps
Dual PoV

Blurb: [A dark and twisted maze awaits criminal psychologist London Noble when she falls for her patient, convicted serial killer, Grayson Pierce Sullivan.]

Can't Hide Forever by Lauren Marcie
Can't Hide Forever by Lauren Marcie

- Police officer chases serialkiller, who is also her therapist
- MC has split personality
- Masked Stalker Romance
Dual PoV

Blurb: [My name is Dr Jackson Keller, but the cops call me Hyde.
By day, I'm a respected therapist who lives to help others. By night, dark urges take control of my mind.
Hyde. My masked alter ego. He craves bloody vengeance.
And the Detective determined to hunt me down just happens to be my newest patient.]

Limerence (Fated Fixation, #1) by H.C. Dolores
Limerence by H.D. Dolores

- College setting (without secret societys)
- MC is manipulative and cold but falls first
- FC is morally grey and sees through MCs masquerade
- Love = obsessive sickness
One PoV

Blurb: [A dead body. A dark secret. And a sociopath who can't decide whether he'd rather kill me or kiss me.]

Debt by Nina G. Jones
Debt by Nina G. Jones

- FC hires a fake rapist but gets the real deal while thinking its roleplay
- MC wants revenge for trauma
- MC was a insecure "creep" and befriended with FC while also having a crush on her
Dual PoV

Blurb: [It was supposed to be safe. A trhill. A way to break through the monotony of everyday life. It was an illusion of danger that I could walk away from as soon as it was over. Expect that it wasn't.]

Even If It Hurts (Coastal Elite #1) by Sam Mariano
Even if it hurts by Sam Mariano

Underrated with 3.6 stars
- MC is a walking bad boy clichee but is actually a psycho
- MC gives FC (and the reader) trust issues
- MC prevers torture to killing
Dual PoV

Blurb: [... and even though I'm afraid to trust it - to trust him - boy, am I tempted.]

Please share your hidden gems here

Karen Denise Foster | 148 comments Hi. I love this idea and will be back to post some books I think are underrated. But I wanted to drop this in because I just found this website. It's a literature map that helps you find authors that are similar to ones you love, but might not know about. It doesn't recognize every author, but has a good portion of authors listed and will give you some new ones to check out.
