Feliks (dzerzhinsky) Interesting. He like longer works. I've read 12 of these... just around half..have not yet found a way into Faulkner, which he apparently favoured heavily. I'm rueing the lack.

Kirsten (kmcripn) The only Faulkner I ever read was a short story in high school "A Rose for Emily" - very, very creepy. Put me off him for a long time.

However, a couple of years ago I got a free first chapter of Light in August from Audible. Made me think I should give him another shot!

Feliks (dzerzhinsky) I've seen Robert Duvall in the movie version of 'Tomorrow' and it was great but depressing.

Anthony Burgess recommends 'The Mansion' as the best way to appreciate this author.
