Linda Bishop | 2 comments Read 'You are Here." by David Nicholls. Its set in the UK and there are a group of people who decide to walk between the two northern coasts. Heres my review for it:If you’ve ever walked a long distance, love walking, or simply enjoy reading about it, You Are Here is the novel for you. I loved it so much I found myself reading into the small hours — more than a few 3 a.m. finishes — just so I could keep turning the pages. In fact, I’m tempted to start all over again, certain I must have missed little gems along the way.

It’s a wonderful escape: a tender, funny, and quietly profound story about two people who, for their own reasons, have drifted away from human connection. Set against a backdrop that mirrors modern life — where it’s all too easy to stay at home and avoid interaction — the novel shows how the simple act of walking can open hearts and conversations. The old adage “walking is good for talking” comes vividly to life in this quirky, beautifully written romance.
