Around the World in 80 Books discussion

Hey everyone. Quite a while ago I participated in the book club, but when I broke my kindle I kind of fell off for a long time. It seems like the club isn’t as active or alive now. Does this group still put on monthly readings? Is there a new format I’m missing on where to find it? I loved the suggested books the club always put out and would love to pick it back up. Does anyone know of any other clubs like this one that puts out monthly books?

I use the group to keep track of my challenges, but there haven't been any group discussions for quite a while.

The organizer of the group does not seem to be involved anymore. A few of us are still doing the TBR challenge together and (like Rosemarie said) tracking the challenges, but the vibrant discussions are not happening. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything similar for reading around the world.

yeah, I am here and keep adding to my own boards but haven't done anything else. I couldn't fit the TBR challenge into my reading this year.

I do know that members can add and remove books for monthly reads and anyone can make a post so if anyone is interested they can start that.

honestly - since GR changed the notifications policy - no emails for updates or even PM's - it makes it hard to track groups - i think a lot have seen a drop off in participation since then

I took note of the group last year and waited until the 1st of January to do my first posting. I keep track of the books I have read with foreign locales. I have not had a lot of other interactions with the group unless they are on my friend list.
