Hi Emmy, thanks for looking into this. Just confirming that the edition you linked is not the same as the one I am holding despite the matching ISBN. The edition I am holding has a page count of 609 and a published date of July 1996, in contrast with the above link's 671 page count and January 1996 publishing date.
This link seems to be more accurate to the edition I am holding than the AbeBooks link in the original post, though the AbeBooks link does show the correct cover: https://search.worldcat.org/title/671...
The booklisting already present does not have a publ. date of Jan. 1996 but of June 1, 1996.The record was created on 2007-02-06, the publ. date was set by the amazon_catalog and the cover image was sourced by barnes noble.
On Mar 03, 2021 a librarian changed the page count from 609 to 671 and logged as follows: Page count added from a member with a copy in hand. num_pages: '609' to '671'.
As far as I can see, the cover image in this record is identical to the one on AbeBooks (which looks like a manually made photograph) and WorldCat (not an acceptable source for cover images, btw).
All things considered - including the matching ISBN - I'm pretty sure that this record belongs to the edition that you're holding. Maybe the info provided by the member who requested the change in page count in March 2021 was incorrect?
