ooooh man the divergent was so good!!!…but not exactly clean…and a cuple $uicide references…so it gave me no choice to rate it 3.9

James Joyce’s Finnegans Wake is a really weird and complicated book that doesn’t follow a normal story. It’s about the Earwicker family in Dublin, but the way it’s written is kind of like a dream, with lots of puns, made-up words, and different languages all mixed together. The book talks about big ideas like life, death, and starting over, using the story of “Finnegan’s Wake,” where a man dies and comes back to life. The story goes in circles, starting and ending in the middle of a sentence, showing how life and time never really stop. Even though it’s confusing, the book is really about how people think, dream, and share stories through myths.
