Hi!!! My next read is the fourth book of the Inheritance Games series but I don’t remember much of the third book, so could anyone please give me a summary of the third book?

HIII omg same i literally blanked on half the third book when i picked up the fourth, so here’s what i remember!! basically in The Final Gambit Avery is super close to finally inheriting everything, but then Tobias Hawthorne’s last puzzle drops on her and it gets intense. she has to live in the house until her birthday to get the full inheritance, but of course new drama comes in with Eve, this girl who claims to be Toby’s daughter (and she looks suspiciously like Emily, which messes with the boys’ heads). the Hawthorne brothers are all still circling her in their own ways, and Avery’s relationship with Jameson really develops here, while Grayson is still doing the broody self-sacrificing thing. the main tension is figuring out if Eve is legit or if she’s playing them, and every puzzle keeps circling back to family secrets and Tobias’s actual endgame. it all leads to Avery realizing she was chosen not just for her brain but because of who she is, and there’s this whole life-or-death showdown where she has to make the final move. by the end, she’s officially the heiress, Jameson and her are solid, and the brothers kind of settle into their roles without being torn apart.

that’s the gist, but tbh i probably missed a bunch of details cause those books throw ten puzzles a page lmaoo.
