Sarah (twimom22580) | 5 comments When I am reading books that are personal documents, the author is coming up as "anonymous". How do I fix that so that the author and/or book can be tagged?

Sarah (twimom22580) | 5 comments I am pretty sure they are coming up anonymous because they are ARCs of the books from the author/publisher.

Quotes from personal documents on your Kindle will indeed come up as from Anonymous. There is no way to prevent that; it's a limit of how Kindles handle personal documents.

However, if you link each one and tell us what book and author it comes from, a librarian can edit each one to correct it.

So there is no way that I can manage quotes that I share at all?

You can apply for librarian status, if you like.

Sarah (twimom22580) | 5 comments I want to be able to edit things that I share without waiting for someone else. I sent links a few days ago and they haven't been correct.

I'm sorry your request got lost in this thread while discussing policy.
I attributed the quotes to the books you linked.

For future request, there may be confusion when you say "Quote 2".
The order of the quotes is different when someone views your user page, compared with your quotes page.
https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/8... (scroll down for quotes)
compared with:
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/list...

To avoid confusion, you can add a direct link to the quote in your request. By clicking on the number of likes, you get to the link of that quote.
