Goodreads Private Message settings - PLEASE READ

As you all probably know by now, Goodreads defaulted everyone's Private Message settings to "Just my friends".

Because of this we are asking you to update your Private Message settings to "From anyone" - This is not required, of course, your privacy settings are your own. However, if you previously allowed "From anyone" we ask you reset to that status so that we (Challenge Corner mods and your fellow members) can communicate with you more easily. The "Just my friends" setting does affect whether you receive group broadcasts such as the challenge announcements, read-a-thon's, and other group announcements.

AS A REMINDER, regardless of your Private Message setting or ability to receive messages, it is YOUR responsibility (as participants) to check in to your team for team challenges and keep track of what you have signed up for - with the current issue it is even more difficult to track down missing players and it is a courtesy to your team to be there and checking in.

To check/change your Private Message status, go to your Account Settings then Settings - the Who Can Send Me Private Messages setting is midway down the page.
