Mysterywhite | 3 comments These books have excellent illustrations. One book revolved around a girl who went to play with her friends on her birthday but they were all busy. After being turned away from each house she fantasized about how she would make her friend suffer when she was having fun. My favorite images were the steam roller affair and the slide factory. The other book was a boy repeatedly asking his mum if he could take a stray home, and I believe that in the end it was revealed as a DInosaur. a possible third book was about twins who ruled different lands (Eyoog and Orig?) They used two dragons to wage war on another, but the dragons shed their armor to be with one another ruining the battle.

Mysterywhite | 3 comments I've solved my own mystery, with some sleuthing I have discovered that the author is the renowned Steven Kellog, the twins book is called The Wicked Kings of Bloon, the party book is Wont Somebody Play With Me? and the boy with the stray is called Can i Keep Him? All great books that shape young imaginations and inspire healthy inquiries. Can get them through Amazon, now to fulfill some christmas shopping!
