Unapologetic_Bookaholic Since 2010 is right around the corner. I thought it I'd be fun to perhaps list a couple book resolutions. For me?

I'd like to complete at least one yearly challenge [in my reading challenge group:] and one series I started in 2009.

And you?

I plan to try not to put too many books down. If that means not picking them up when I know my mood is iffy so be it.

I also want to finish some series I started in 09 that I been bouncing back and forth with.

Unapologetic_Bookaholic I will start at the top of my series list: Breeds by Lora Leigh. Hopefully I can get through each one back to back, or go through my top 2 series.

I also leave it up to you to add or strikeout completed resolutions.

Caleb (ccp981) I hope to not re-read so often. I have loads of books on my TBR list that I've never read and I might get to if I just stop picking up the same books so often and re-reading them.

I hope to read more at work. I work 10 hour shifts and waste a ton of good reading time. In 2010, I won't.

Brandy *Ahviel* (ahviel) | 7 comments my resolution is to try to read the pile that is on my floor then start in alphabetical order in reading. Or at least try t read ne series at a time

I started doing that the end of this year Jennifer, but that is a really good one! I need to stick with it for 2010 :D

Jessi (jessim) I am hoping to read a lot more books next year and to try some new arthurs that I haven't read yet. :)

Jackie (Literary Escapism) (literaryescapism) My resolution is to try and keep up with my TBR shelf. My list is over 500 strong, so I know I'm not going to get through that, but I'm hoping to bring my shelf (holding around 50-60 books) down to something a little less intimidating. I have some great stuff up there, I just know it, but I need more time to get to it. :) Or at least to stop getting distracted by the new books coming out.

Unapologetic_Bookaholic I have a great system of offering up my TBR pile for swap. Then I HAVE to read the books, b/c I have to send them out for swap. I didn't even buy any books in November b/c I was busy reading!

i would like to read what i have on my shelf at home.. try to finish some series off before i start a new one. :) only buy books that i need for my series.. :)

DarkHeart "Vehngeance" (darkheart) | 168 comments I'm with you, Stephanie. My GR TBR shelf is full of nothing but books that are physically on my bookshelf, ebooks on my computer or audiobooks on my Zune. I really need to get that number down and stop buying so many new things, as it's impossible to keep on top of it all. Short of series I'm already reading, I should try and stop myself from buying anything new unless I've completed a series on my shelf.

Unapologetic_Bookaholic I really have tried to not start any new series since I said I want to make it a resolution to complete a series I started this year [or however long ago I started it:]. So I'll do anything it takes to complete series. Join challenges, suggest them for reads. Anything! LOL.

Paula (paula717) | 19 comments Less television, which will mean more time for reading. Yeah!

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) To read more urban fantasy next year. I'm pretty much behind on all the UF series!

Unapologetic_Bookaholic It is nice to check off books 3,4,5 in a series. I don't buy my series so I am usually starting a new series while waiting [for a swap:]. Now with my swap groups I am able to get books faster b/c the group is smaller.

I can see myself finishing 2+ series this year. My goal was one.
