Being new to this site, I was a bit confused on how to add and where to add my questions and book information. After making several mistakes and then, realizing this, not knowing how to delete some of my posts, this could possibly be some of the problem as well. I suggest that, if you have a group that overseas entries, from a quality assurance point of view, they can make QA governance decisions whether the information is posted is reputable, meets the criteria of the group or area or in the appropriate place in the goodreads website.
I have incorporated this with businesses on many of their websites and these (this) key person(s) have a defined responsiblity and will make the decision about the Quality of the postings. And also, some have gone as as far as notifying the person who posted the items that the item wasn't in the appropriate area or didn't meet the criteria.
I hope this is useful and helps!

I would either flag the Author or send a message to the powers that be via the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. There are a set of standards that Authors with profiles are supposed to adhere to when the join Goodreads. Authors that spam in Groups are generally warned and removed but your message about the lists is a new one on me
What should/can be done about this?
