Goodreads Authors/Readers discussion
Group Folder Index

Thanks, Cecilia!
Yes, I have to balance writing with managing my time on Goodreads.
But I'm glad authors and readers are enjoying the group.

I posted some time ago about several ning networks for writers. I just wanted to let everyone know that as of July Ning will be charging, but there are other freebies out there. Most people already know this, but I thought I'd pass the word just in case.
Take care,
Elizabeth

Hi Ruth,
You can just scroll down and click on the folder name. Once you do, you will see an option to add a post.
As a quick link for your short stories, try this too:

Sure thing, Ruth.
I'm not sure why they aren't appearing as live links on your end, but here is another link for historical fiction (you can post your work here too): http://www.goodreads.com/topic/new/26...

Hi Dan,
They are not set-up as live links. You can scroll down on the group and find the genres you need.

How about either Action/Adventure/Political Intrigue or Action/Action then Political Intrigue separately.
Thanks,
Lynn
I do travel books. so far, one travel/memoir and one travel tip guide. Is there a folder for that?
I mean will there be one for travel? Which would espionage books be under? I seldom find any listings anywhere for espionage as a separate genre.
Marianne and Mona,
There is now a travel folder.
Feel free to post there.
(Espionage can go under mystery or thriller.)

I still don't see an Action/Adventure or Political Intrigue. Where would like a book that is a mix genre: Military/Action/Adventure/Political Intrigue like our book, Call Sign: Wrecking Crew?
Lynn
I actually created one just now for reference books.
You can also post under nonfiction, too.

Hi Robert,
You can leave a post about your book in the genres listed on the group (and in the Bulletin Board section).
Thanks

Thank you for making the time to do this post.
But, I notice there is no listing for Self help books, or new age. My book is a self help book.
Best wishes Gary

Hi Gary,
There is a reference folder you can use for your self help book.
You'll see it toward the middle of the group.

Thanks for this resource. I'm a newbie, and trying to find the YA folder. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Hi Chameleon,
I haven't set them up as links (I might do so in the months to come).
But you can go to the group's main page and just scroll to see the folders.

I like that idea.

Done.
But guys might cruise around in that folder too. Just a heads-up.
:)"
Guys are welcome. Why should they like Women's Fiction any less than a female would enjoy reading extreme adventure?

My book The Horses I've Loved, A Memoir
obviously needs to be placed in the Memoirs folder.
Thanks,
Susan
