Chrizette Is it just me, or do you also wish that the GR book descriptions could also include a little line that says if it is a romance, a thriller, a historial romance or whatever . . . It fustrates me when I start reading a book and then find out that it something I was not prepared for . . .

Chriz I usually have a quick look at what type of shelves other readers have classified the book as ... they're usually spot-on.

Chrizette That is a very good idea - thank you Daisymay!

AlbertaJenn that would be interesting. Some publishers do add a little notation by their logo on the book. It might say "Avon Romance" or "Berkley Mystery". But only if they are in certain determined catagories.

If a book is in the general fiction section, try jumping online (like here) and reading reviews.
