Susan | 11 comments I've decided to turn the TV off and read in 2010. It will be much more entertaining!
My first book (now in progress but started during 2010) is Go Down Together, which is the true story of Bonnie & Clyde.

Nicole (nimabu) | 47 comments I actually weened myself from my TV addiction, I don't even turn it on anymore and when I sit in front of it for a few minutes I feel restless. So I only watch documentaries and read books during my free time. Happy reading :)

Susan | 11 comments Go Down Together The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde by Jeff Guinn (in progress)

Susan | 11 comments Finished: No. 1 for 2010 -- Going Down Together
Next up: Fahrenheit 451

Susan | 11 comments I just finished Book #2 out of 50 for 2010: Fahrenheit 451. It was rather short, only 150 pages or so, but very good. It's a book that I may re-read in a few years; and it's eerily relevant to today as well as the year in which it was first published (1953).

Susan | 11 comments I haven't yet decided what to read next. I'm going "shopping" in my own house, as there are several books here that I haven't read yet.

Maggie White | 54 comments I like that way of putting it.

Susan | 11 comments I might have to check out this series beginning with: Mistress of the Art of Death. It's getting some good reviews. I'm going to have to stop at the library tomorrow for this one.

Susan | 11 comments #3: Lost Boy. This is a true account by Brent W. Jeffs, nephew of the now-imprisoned leader of the polygamous FLDS sect (cult?)about growing up in a polygamous household and his recovery from its psychological effects. Although it's not the type of story one would "enjoy", it's well-written and worth reading.
I just started "The Hour I First Believed" by Wally Lamb.

Susan | 11 comments #4: Finished "The Hour I First Believed" by Wally Lamb, and loved it! I want to read his other books, but not right away. I haven't chosen #5 yet...

I haven't had television in about 10 years and I love it.

Susan | 11 comments I just finished The Memory Keeper's Daughter. It was good, entertaining, not GREAT, but I'm glad I read it. This was book #5 of my 50 books in 2010.
