message 201: by Susan (new)

Susan | 193 comments Fortunately, while Dave is eating a peanut butter sandwich for lunch, the humans manage to break the glass dome by singing a high "C" all together.

message 202: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl Landmark (clandmark) | 242 comments Unfortunately, the air (or, lack thereof) outside the dome is not enough to sustain them and they all perish into red dust.

message 203: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Fortunately, Dave finished his sandwich, gulped down his sasparella then went about the task of reivnenting mankind. He found a piece of hair and with the improvemnt in DNA cloning, proceeded to clone a new race.

message 204: by Scarlett (new)

Scarlett Avery (scarlettavery) | 86 comments Unfortunately, I can't sleep.

message 205: by T.L. (last edited Nov 18, 2015 12:19AM) (new)

T.L. Clark (tlcauthor) | 145 comments Fortunately, Dave was unconcerned with Scarlett's insomnia (although I'm sorry to hear of it), and he created a super human race. All were now equal and had none of that nasty greed inherent in mark 1. All were able to live in peace, meditating a great deal of the time.

message 206: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Unfortunately, there is always at least one black sheep in the family and chaos was on the agenda.

message 207: by Daniel (new)

Daniel Smith (danielsmith527) | 38 comments Unfortunately, the prize became too tempting to an alien race who have been eagerly waiting for a harvest as ripe as Earth has become.

message 208: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Fortunately, the aliens could not understand a word any human spoke and thought it would be better if they put us back on Earth with all memories of "the harvest" wiped from the humans minds. So life went back to normal, back to normal, back to norm......whirrrr...eeep...i seem to have a malfunction.

message 209: by Lenita (new)

Lenita Sheridan | 1010 comments Unfortunately, the malfunction infected everyone and soon people could not understand one another.

message 210: by Vanessa Eden (new)

Vanessa Eden Patton (vanessaeden) | 509 comments fortunately the aliens had pervious knowledge of sign language and were still able to communicate, although somewhat slower.

message 211: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Unfortunately people stopped "listening" because the aliens sentences were really long...they had long fingers...

message 212: by Vanessa Eden (new)

Vanessa Eden Patton (vanessaeden) | 509 comments Fortunately the aliens could write and wore tablets hung from their spindly long necks with their thoughts written on them.

message 213: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Unfortunately, they left their chargers at home so when the battery ran out.......

message 214: by Daniel (new)

Daniel Smith (danielsmith527) | 38 comments Fortunately, one among them had the good sense to install solar panels which fed into an emergency power center.

message 215: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Unfortunately, it is very dark in space and to go with that, a strange dark cloud had hovered over the alien craft only 21 light years into their journey.

message 216: by Daniel (new)

Daniel Smith (danielsmith527) | 38 comments Fortunately, they were not caught unawares and raised their shields, preparing for the worst.

message 217: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Unfortunately, only 19.5 light years from Earth they flew through a meteorite shower, shattering all solar panels and scratching the paintwork, resulting in them having to pull into flux capacitor chop shop to be repaired.

message 218: by Daniel (new)

Daniel Smith (danielsmith527) | 38 comments Fortunately, a quirky mechanic hustled from behind a dented gray hovercraft, mouth agape and shouted, "Great Scott!"

message 219: by Ellie (new)

Ellie Blackwood (ellieblackwood) | 64 comments Unfortunately, the mechanic, though eager to help, was unable to repair the ship, due to the fact that the aliens who had fitted the solar panels had wrecked the inner workings of the ship. He offered the aliens a choice; either he could leave the ship in its broken state, or he could convert the ship into an experimental time machine.

message 220: by Daniel (new)

Daniel Smith (danielsmith527) | 38 comments Fortunately, a small group volunteered to go back in time to help their vessel avoid the treacherous meteors.

message 221: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Unfortunately, they only went back in time 5 minutes and when they appeared in front of their own selves from 5 minutes in the future it created a terrifying conundrum that could not be controlled

message 222: by Daniel (new)

Daniel Smith (danielsmith527) | 38 comments Fortunately, the embarrassment was immediately forgotten when a rip in the space-time continuum split open the air between them.

message 223: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Unfortunately, or fortunately, whichever way you think of it, the space/time continuum not only opened the / air between them but sucked them into a great void and they were never heard from again.

message 224: by Ellie (new)

Ellie Blackwood (ellieblackwood) | 64 comments Fortunately, those aliens were really annoying
anyway.

message 225: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Unfortunately for the aliens, this thread went off on a new track and a new topic was discussed....books.

message 226: by Daniel (new)

Daniel Smith (danielsmith527) | 38 comments Fortunately, books provide a multiplicity of ways to inspire, to depress, to poison, to heal, to enrapture and to enrage.

message 227: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl Landmark (clandmark) | 242 comments Unfortunately, mundane things like sleeping and eating and life interfere with the reading of books.

message 228: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Fortunately, I have finished reading my last book and now and I am fed and rested.

message 229: by Ellie (new)

Ellie Blackwood (ellieblackwood) | 64 comments Unfortunately, there are too many books out there to ever read in one's lifetime. The struggle is real!

message 230: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Fortunately, we like a challenge.

message 231: by Katy (new)

Katy Mann | 56 comments Michael wrote: "Fortunately, we like a challenge."

Unfortunately, a mutant version of pink eye with the capability of blinding readers after exposure is spreading, and our only hope is that a cure be found before the scientists themselves go blind.

message 232: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Is getting blind drunk the same sort of thing?

message 233: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Fortunately, i sobered up and actually read which discussion I was answering in.

message 234: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Fortunately, as it was a deserted island, there were no cows on the island (hence it being deserted) and Kimberley saved her $100

message 235: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Fortunately, scientists have discovered that one cup of coffee per day can cure viruses therefore Kimberley saved even more money as she did not have to call nerds'r'us to fix her computer.

message 236: by Mizz (new)

Mizz Unfortunately she then remembered that the one cup of coffee a day only cures human viruses and NOT computer viruses so now her computer is dead and she has to use her $100 to fix it or buy a new one

message 237: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Fortunately, down on her luck, Kimberley got a meal, then with her last $10 she bought a lotto ticket and won the entire jackpot of $250,000,000.00

message 238: by Katy (new)

Katy Mann | 56 comments Kimberly wrote: "Unfortunately, she was behind in taxes and the IRS took all her money she won from the lottery."

Fortunately, she had chosen the cash option quite literally, and after they left, found she forgotten to hand over a stack of $100 bills which allowed her to buy a new computer and take a flight to Aruba, where she met a mysterious man...

message 239: by Vanessa Eden (new)

Vanessa Eden Patton (vanessaeden) | 509 comments Fortunately she was able to keep him busy long enough to hire a hit man to get the Agent off her back.

message 240: by Katy (new)

Katy Mann | 56 comments Vanessa Eden wrote: "Fortunately she was able to keep him busy long enough to hire a hit man to get the Agent off her back."

Unfortunately a hurricane was coming in, and it had stirred up something long dormant at the bottom of the sea...

Looks like when I posted mine I missed Kimberly's. Must have been on the wrong page. So...

Fortunately, a hurricane was coming in, and the hit man was blown out to sea, still clinging to a palm tree, just as the monster storm stirred up something long dormant at the bottom of the ocean...

message 242: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Unfortunately she did not have enough money to pay the hit man, so she was to be the next on his list.

message 243: by Susan (new)

Susan | 193 comments Unfortunately it was a paper airplane.

message 244: by Michael (new)

Michael Lewis (mll1013) | 128 comments Fortunately, when she unfolded the paper, she discovered that it was a bank note worth $500 Million.

message 245: by Vanessa Eden (new)

Vanessa Eden Patton (vanessaeden) | 509 comments fortunately, when she swam out to try and retrieve the note she bumped into a treasure chest when she dove under water.

message 246: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Unfortunately she could not actually afford to hire the Hit man, so she was next on his list

message 247: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Fortunately, now my server is back on speed and I can catch up with what I actually missed out on previously.

message 248: by Vanessa Eden (new)

Vanessa Eden Patton (vanessaeden) | 509 comments Fortunately there are a few people who can still follow the storyline.

message 249: by Michael (new)

Michael Gallas | 1226 comments Fortunately I can not understand a word that is being said. Questions bring up another 100 questions from all kinds of different people all with different opinions. Thats what makes this thread so interesting. Has anyone written a book from the questions and answers in this thread?

message 250: by Vanessa Eden (new)

Vanessa Eden Patton (vanessaeden) | 509 comments Unfortunately, if someone did write such a book, too many people would find it wierd...and not in a good way.
