I took a break from the Mageverse to wolf down the Chase Brothers when they arrived in the mail from a fellow paperbackswap.com member. Then last night I gobbled down another of the Anita Blake stories (I'm almost through the series to the current release). Now, back to the Mageverse.

, but couldn't help myself and started it. lol I was supposed to work my second job tonight, but since it was slow they let me go home. I wasn't too sad because I could go home and read. :)

I did read her Mystery Man series very fast. I am going to have a hard time not blowing through this one too. Although I don't care for Tate.
Tate turned out to be one of my favorites. I have a hard time choosing. Max popped my KA cherry, so he's special to me. Tate was such an ass I didn't think he could be redeemed but he was, so he's special to me. Ty... oye, Ty. What a story, his. He's special, too. Now Chace... babe. Just sayin'...

And Dhes is the book pusher.
KA is the only author that can write a hero that I think is an absolute King of A-holes, then end up loving with every bit of my girl parts. I'm always THIS CLOSE to pitching the book b/c the guy is SUCH a dick, then I take a break and come up for air and think, 'DAMN! When did I start loving him?'. KA is truly a gifted mind-bender. :)

which was briefly a freebie on Kindle. I've been chatting with the author via Goodreads email and we seem to have plenty in common outside literature. About halfway done and loving much of it, though it has weaknesses that will prevent my giving it the best rating.Finished my Mageverse re-read, will probably read some humor next.

I'm a little behind on reading this series, but I'm loving Maya Banks KGI books. The newest one just came out last month.

I'm reading a non-fiction book about a lesbian writer's muse type in belle epoque Paris. Blame the movie 'Midnight in Paris'. Also I'm making my way, lately, through everything that Cherise Sincalir has written.2 things that couldn't BE more different!
