Who do you think Simon should be with? Isabelle or Maia? They're both awesome, but who would you like to see him with?

I think I would rather see him with Maia. They are both downworlders dealing with problems. I think they would accent each other perfectly. I love Isabelle, but I think she is a little too high strung for Simon.

Wow. I feel so different. Everybody here is saying Maia, but I prefer Isabelle. But that's just my opinion.

Me, too! I don't know why, but I find Maia kind of annoying. I like Isabelle. And, yeah, Isabelle didn't care about Simon at first, but she only cared about her brothers at first. Throughout the story she learns what having friends is like and how to love. Maia knew that from the beginning. Isabelle had to learn that. And I find that kind of romantic. So that's why I'm for the Simon x Izzy team. (Disagree with me if you want, I'm not changing my mind.)

But if you think about it. Simon shouldn't have either. Simon is immortal. Maia is a werewolf, but werewolves aren't immortal. Isabelle is a Shadowhunter, she's not immortal either, but she is capable of going vampire, when Maia isn't.

Yeah, but we all know that isn't going to happen. (Magnus and Alec are in the same boat. Magnus is immortal (Or a very slow grower.) and Alec is mortal. Either their relationship is going to end at one point or Alec is going to go vamp for Magnus.)

Bazinga? That means prank. (Basically pwned) That's from The Big Bang Theory. I'm tempted to make a fanfiction of MI, and if I ever do, Simon and Isabelle are being paired up in it. (Though it's going to be, without a doubt, mostly about Alec and Magnus. They are my favorite couple.)

I love Alec and Magnus. I LOVE Simon and Izzy though. Don't really care about Clary. she's a bit bleh.

Clary is okay. Same goes for Jase. My friend only likes Jase because she gets to see him shirtless on the cover of the first book. She's such a pervert. -.- Clary x Jase is okay. I'm not crazy about it, nor do I hate it. But it does seem a bit clique. Simon x Isabelle and Alec x Magnus are awesome! Gotta love sarcastic nerd x bitchy prissy girl and sarcastic slightly cross-dressing x clueless sheltered boy. (Though I was being quite flat and honest about them, I do love them and they would probably agree with what I called them.)

Only a homophobe wouldn't. Scratch that. Even a homophobe would. One of my friends who's homophobe read this story, and his favorite character is Magnus. I'm with him to get him over his fear. So far, he's not afraid of FICTIONAL homosexuals. We're still working on it, but we're making progress.

I don't think it's about who's better for who. I mean, Clary still wanted to be with Jace even though Simon was better for her, since at the time Jace was supposed to be her brother. It's about what the characters feel.

And some people argue that Isabelle didn't feel anything for Simon until he talked to her about Max, but you can't just fall in love with someone at first site all the time. Sometimes it takes time. And Isabelle does care for Simon. She let him in. No one else. Just him. And Simon is obviously attracted to her. Even if we don't know exactly what they did in her bedroom, it's obvious something happened.

The fact of the matter is, I don't like Maia. Her character can get annoying sometimes, and i just don't like her. Maybe that's clouding my judgement, but if Simon had to choose one girl, I'd want it to be Isabelle.

I wholeheartedly agree.
And I always prefer couples who take their time and get to know one another. It's more realistic, and a hell of a lot sweeter.
And I think Isabelle always had a soft fpot for Simon, but the more time she spent with him, the more she let him in, and grew to like him.
I like to think she was falling in "like" with him.

Jace was but they had dificult circumstances

I mean that Jace was supposedly her brother. I'm sure if some random person who had never read the book had to decide if it was better if she was with her brother or her best friend, then they'd pick her best friend, aka Simon.

Well in CoFA Simon DOES date both girls at the same time, but it doesn't turn out too good lol- From what the lovely Cassandra has said..
BUt if I had to choose, it would be Isabelle because even though she's bossy and such, I believe they would be great together now that he's not a mundie anymore.
Plus I don't really like Maia(Sorry!)
