Yeah, Promise Me Tomorrow is almost impossible to get unless you're willing to spend over $100 for it. It's never been re-issued so the only copies available are the original prints.

Someone who knows her told me that she doesn't care for the book and has no desire for it to be reissued ever. So the only way to get it is to buy it used for astronomical prices...or get lucky and find it at a yard sale or thrift store. I have it wishlisted at PBS...I'm number 121 in line for it :(

Out of her trilogies I've read: sign of seven, gallagher's of ardmore, chesapeake saga
and I've read a few stand alones. I've also read her JD Robb series.

Right now I'm working on High Noon, and just finished Blue Smoke (which I didn't really like). And then I might read Midnight Bayou next or Birthright. Screw my other non Nora books lol.
Hey Sherry! lol. Fancy seeing you here.

But I think someone said you can buy the movie through I-Tunes for a few bucks.

Anyway, I've read pretty much all of the books since I try to read them as I got them and have them all except this last hardcover and some JD Robb titles. I love most of them, especially the series books like Seven Signs, Three Sisters Island, Chesapeake Bay and then her Silhouette series books. I did not like the Stars of Mithra series. Not sure why. They didn't appeal to me but that may have had something to do with reading them while in therapy for a leg injury(reading while in pain, not a good idea) so I may re-read them this summer since I try to read my favorite Nora titles at least once a year.

I have to admit, I have only read 12 Nora books and 2 JD Robb books, but I have decided to take the plunge and start reading more of her stuff. I work in a used book store so it is easy to get my hands on her books. 2010 will probably be my year of Nora. :)

As for the rest, I didn't read them in order at first but there are major milestones....like the discovery of Roarkes past, Mavis's baby....it really depends on the reader. But I do suggest reading 1 and 2 first....it sets the stage for everything that follows... :)
