F1Wild Steinbeck!!! Especially East of Eden as it's so rich I seem to get more and more out of it with each read. Also Pearl S. Buck's The Good Earth for the same reason.

Kandice For me, my favorites authors are those I read and re-read on a regular basis, but occasionally my children will pick up a book I remember loving as a kid. That will, invariably, prompt me to read a lot of that author or the series, if it is one. I like to read alongside them, and that's the perfect way to do it.
