Peep (Pop! Pop!) I'm about to request a few books through Inter-library loan. Did I promise anyone that I would request a book that they recommended?? So far I only have two, but that number doesn't sound quite right!!

Sloppy Firsts and Angels' Blood are the only two I have.

Jaimie (jaimier) | 1275 comments ooo, I don't think I got you to promise to read it but I think you would like it; A Silent Ocean Away by DeVa Gantt. It is not YA but I totally dug it. Warning it is part of a trilogy but not really because it was originally self published as one book and then when it got picked up they broke it down into three. It's historical fiction.

Heidi I thought you had Gone (Michael Grant) and Girl Who Played with Fire (audio) on hold ????

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Jaimie I have to check to see if that one is available!

Heidi those aren't at my libraries. I was on the waitlist for the ebook of The Girl Who Played With Fire. I have less than two weeks left with that one but had to get some YA out of the way. The audio is available but I'd rather read it.

Gone is the one I forgot about! It is one I have to request since none of my libraries have it. One of the books (the next one??) is a free read online.

Becca | 1608 comments I thought you promised someone you would read HP1 as well, or at least listen to it.

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Sheesh guys you aren't letting me get away with anything!

I went to get it on my library run on Tues, but the first 3 books were out. If it's not there next Tuesday then I'll put a hold on it.

Chachic Hey Peep, I think I recommended the first two books in your list! I hope you like them! I'd be happy to hear your thoughts after you read them.

Jen | 55 comments Definitely try The Body Finder - really liked it! Also the Gone series...Gone, Hunger, and Lies (not out yet).

Oh - and it's not YA, but have you read The Help?

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Hi Jen, I have read the Help and LOVED it. Gone is one of the books I requested. Some came in today so maybe it's Gone?? I haven't heard of the Body Finder. I'll look it up now. Thanks for the recommendations!

Teresa, haha, I read Beautiful Creatures (well got halfway through) and didn't like it. It just didn't work with me. I ended up donating my copy to the library. Maybe one day I'll finish it?? It's funny, because most of the books I didn't like, you didn't seem to like as well.

I'll read just about anything except books (and I can't think of books, so I'll give you shows) that are like Sex in the City, Gossip Girl, Secret Life of an American Teeanager, etc. Books that revolve around popularity and boys.
