Beyond Reality discussion

I thought I'd post this here, because To Ride Hell's Chasm was our Fantasy Book of the Year in 2009, and is in our Hall of Fame:

The Fantasy Literature website (where I am a reviewer) has a fun new contest up. The website's logo is a painting of a dragon by Janny Wurts (our administrator recently bought the original), and we thought it'd be fun to try and find a name for what we currently just call the "FanLit dragon". By participating, you'll have a chance to win one of two copies of To Ride Hell's Chasm.

I always liked Trevanian's name for his chief spook in "The Eiger Sanction," 'Yurasis Dragon'.

Congratulations to Jon, who actually ended up winning this contest with her entry, Mettlestorm. Separately, one of our reviewers came up with Bookwyrm, and we liked that so much that we decided to combine them and name the dragon "Mettlestorm the Bookwyrm".
