C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments Sorry

TPBM loves the experience of riding on a trolley.

message 8452: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I rode a lot of them while I vacationed in New Orleans in 2011 and 2017. I can attest to how much fun they are!

TPBM has a Deviant Art account.

message 8453: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments No. But I hear they don't get a bad rep though I don't believe the silly stuff said about the artists.

TPBM had an event they hoped to see get rained out!

message 8454: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I can't say that's ever happened to me.

TPBM has seen the movie Mississippi Burning (I want to watch it again so that I can eventually review it).

message 8455: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I have not.

TPBM is in the process of learning a language they were not born into.

message 8456: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I can't say that's true, Guy.

TPBM wants to get a haircut at a barber shop where they also give shoulder massages afterwards (these places exist, believe it or not).

message 8457: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments LoL! No, as I shave my head. The massage sounds good, though.

TPBM is enjoying editing his/her latest piece of prose.

message 8458: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments For me, that would mean rewriting my WIP novel Beautiful Monster from the ground up. I haven't started doing that yet, but I imagine it'll be fun once I get cracking. I have to finish the first draft of Incelbordination before I dive in, though.

TPBM enjoys listening to the song “Love Is Blue” by Paul Mauriat.

message 8459: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments (A la Pink Floyd) "Is there anybody out there?"

message 8460: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments I don't think I've heard it.

TPBM likes going to the library.

message 8461: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I do, especially when I need a change of scenery from reading and writing in my own house.

TPBM enjoys taking afternoon naps.

message 8462: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments In the words of chocolate milk advertisements..."Yoo-hoo!"

message 8463: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (last edited May 04, 2019 06:26PM) (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments I do when I have time to get the nap.

About your other comment I thought, Wow, Yoo-hoo sounds pretty tasty about now... lol.

TPBM is trying so hard to be an early bird but keeps being a late bug.

message 8464: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments It'd be nice if I was an early bird, but I'm not trying very hard to make it happen. I stay up until one-thirty in the morning watching You Tube videos and I eat a lot of food before then. Not a good combination. Speaking of food and drinks, Yoo-Hoo does sound good right now. Hehe!

TPBM wants to see the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie when it hits theaters.

message 8465: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Knitter (sarah04) | 29 comments Um, yes but know? I can always see it at home in a little while.

TPBM understands what a “carry me” poem is? I have no idea how to write a poem with that topic.

message 8466: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments The use of the “carry you” prompt doesn’t have to encompass the entire poem. It could be briefly mentioned, it could be casually implied, as long as the poem or story conforms to the prompt in some way whether it’s minor or major, it’ll be alright. When I submitted my poem this week, I only used the “carry you” prompt for one line. The rest of my poem was about mental institutions being used as prisons. You can take this approach with your own poem or you could do something else entirely as long as the “carry you” prompt is somehow involved. Happy writing!

TPBM cried when they watched A Dog’s Journey.

message 8467: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Knitter (sarah04) | 29 comments Thank you!
I actually have not seen it yet, but want to see it eventually. Was it really that sad?
TPBM has graduated high school and/or college of some kind?

message 8468: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I graduated from Western Washington University in 2009 with a Bachelor's in creative writing and a minor in theater arts. I've been writing semi-professionally ever since.

TPBM enjoys watching John Mulaney's standup comedy.

message 8469: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Knitter (sarah04) | 29 comments Who? Never mind, no, I have not a clue who he is.

TPBM think Shakespeare should be in the curriculum of both Honors and College Prep Ninth Grade classes (modern honors is much harder and rigorous than CP, at least in most cases. For example, honora biology reads journal articles, which is not something often done [if ever] in college prep.)?

message 8470: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments This is going to sound blasphemous, but I've never really been a big fan of Shakespeare, so I wouldn't want it as part of my curriculum.

TPBM enjoys playing the board game Clue.

message 8471: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Knitter (sarah04) | 29 comments (Understandable. I am not a huge fan).
Yes! We were actually talking about this rather than Shakespeare for five minutes....wish it was longer

TPBM has played RummyKub (not sure spelling, but I think you will get it, the game with tiles and two smily faces)

message 8472: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I can't say I've ever played that before.

TPBM enjoys listening to Evanescence.

message 8473: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Knitter (sarah04) | 29 comments Yes, I do when its on.

TPBM loves biology and took it in high school?

message 8474: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I took biology not only in high school, but also in middle school and community college. It wasn’t the most thrilling educational experience I had, but then again, school rarely is thrilling…at least that’s how I saw it.

TPBM has a dog or a cat.

message 8475: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Knitter (sarah04) | 29 comments No.
TPBM likes poodles? (Interesting backstory to this....)

message 8476: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I like dogs no matter what the breed is. They're all deserving of belly rubs and meaty treats. ^_^

TPBM donates books to his or her local library.

message 8477: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (last edited Jul 26, 2019 03:36PM) (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments I sometimes plan on it but they already have a lot of books that I try to donate (everywhere I go, even at flea markets all have The Client by John Grisham, lol!)

TPBM is finally able to sit down and relax today.

(Also Garrison I love the board game Clue!) :)

message 8478: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments Sitting down and relaxing is all I'm able to do at the moment after going on a long walk in the blistering heat. I wanted to do some beta reading and critiquing today, but that'll have to wait.

TPBM has a massive collection of pens and pencils.

message 8479: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments Yes. I used to have a lot of pencils but now I have a ton of pens mostly for work, lol!

TPBM thinks tv dinners aren't that bad!

message 8480: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I occasionally walk to the convenience store to get a Hungry Man meal, so yes, I like them a lot. My favorite kind is fried chicken and mashed potatoes.

TPBM is excited for the release of Skillet's new CD.

message 8481: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments No, I do not. I've never watched a single Cricket game in my life.

TPBM has seen the movie 3 Ninjas and thought it was campy as hell.

message 8482: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments No, I haven't. I've never even been to Europe.

TPBM has keyed somebody's car before.

message 8483: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I don't listen to enough Iron Maiden to make that assessment.

TPBM enjoys watching You Tube videos by Ten Second Songs (Anthony Vincent).

message 8484: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments As a three hundred pounder with a belly full of jelly, running a marathon would be damned near impossible for me, let alone in under five hours. Speaking of which...

TPBM wants to see the movie Brittany Runs a Marathon.

message 8485: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments Never heard of that film.

TPBM loves horror movies.

message 8486: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments As long as they're legitimately scary and not cheesy or hokey, yes, I love the hell out of them. Speaking of disturbing stories...

TPBM has heard about McKamey Manor and knows why it's the most controversial haunted house in the world.

message 8487: by Anne (new)

Anne (annefrn) | 916 comments Yes, since I became a U.S. citizen at the age of 21.

TPBM has traveled outside of their home country at least once.

message 8488: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments That's pretty much my entire library right now. If I've already completed a book, it usually goes on sale on Ebay or Amazon. I never saw the point of keeping books I've already read.

TPBM enjoys reading AITA threads on Reddit.

message 8489: by Anne (new)

Anne (annefrn) | 916 comments Is it an obsession to drink 6 cups of coffee each morning?
(Don't talk to me before the first 3 cups). So...maybe yes...?

TPBM has at least 1 kid (under 18) living with them.

message 8490: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Only if it’s in verse and involves the space harem.

TPBM can’t get enough Blue Bell ice cream (Dutch Chocolate).

message 8491: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. My usual coffee (Folger’s breakfast blend). I lead an unexciting life tea- and coffee-wise (well, and every other wise).

TPBM enjoys photography.

message 8492: by Anne (new)

Anne (annefrn) | 916 comments Nope - no kids here, but I've had a comparable experience with a cat that insists on lap-duty when trying to work on the computer and insists on his share of hitting the keys.

TPBM sends out holiday greeting cards.

message 8493: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments No, I do not. I did, however, used to send out two presents per family member. Books, CD's, Lego sets, custom-made calendars, god knows what else.

TPBM has seen the movie Demolition Man and enjoyed it.

message 8494: by Anne (new)

Anne (annefrn) | 916 comments Sorry, didn't see it.

TPBM has made (and so far kept) one New Year's Resolution.

message 8495: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. I realized long ago that there’s nothing in my nature that would incline me to keep the kind of resolution that can be made as a conscious decision.

TPBM had to buy new tires recently.

message 8496: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Only in poems, stories, paintings, movies, and photos.

TPBM still uses a laptop.

message 8497: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I still use a typewriter occasionally! It’s the first one I ever had, a Royal my parents got me for Christmas when I was in junior high. I was probably the only student who typed his assignments and carried a briefcase.

I don’t drink tea, but I forgot my mug of coffee and I’m sure it’s cold by now. Fortunately, I’ve been drinking cold coffee for years and am used to it.

TPBM no longer starches clothes but merely steam-irons them.

message 8498: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I spent most of today with my brother taking cardboard to the recycling center and shopping for groceries. It took a while to get home, but a nice quiet moment is indeed mine all mine.

TPBM has seen Kate & Leopold and would recommend it to me.

message 8499: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Not this morning, but I’ve done it, and more than once. It was a mess!

TPBM uses Google Maps to explore old neighborhoods.

message 8500: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments My Piper kitty loves to watch BoJack Horseman with me. She lays down on my shoulder and purrs in my ear while it's on. ^_^

TPBM loves to eat spicy wings.
