Gil-or (readingbooksinisrael) (meirathefirst) Depends on what you mean by inside job. And while positive (self) thinking can have a lot to do with it I believe it depends mainly on the chemicals in your brain.

TPBM would like to or has ridden a camel in their lifetime (it's awesome)

message 8202: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Lol! I have given that some thought a long time ago. Maybe I'll include as thing to do before I die.

TPBM no longer reads anything but ebooks.

message 8203: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I still have a collection of paperbacks at home, so no, I don't read many ebooks. Paper is easier on my eyes than a computer screen.

TPBM likes to take naps during rainy and windy weather.

Gil-or (readingbooksinisrael) (meirathefirst) Nope! I love being outside, letting the wind push me to where it wants to go.

TPBM has a throw pillow they love

message 8205: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I sleep with it every night. My elderly kitty Smokey loves it too. She claims it's her pillow and she just lets me use it. Hehe! ^_^

TPBM is not ashamed of admitting he or she is a Nickelback fan.

message 8206: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments If I were I'd likely not be ashamed of it, but I'm not. (I have a strange taste in music, and like things like Apparat — A Bang in the Void and Anna Von Hausswolff Plays An Epic Pipe Organ In New York and Caravan Palace — Rock It For Me.)

TPBM went to sleep listening to the above before they completed their TPBM.

message 8207: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I'm still wide awake, but it's definitely not my kind of music. Sorry, Guy!

TPBM cringes at the thought of sitting at a school desk or on a park bench with graffiti on it.

message 8208: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Lol! No apology required for having your own tastes! Graffiti does not make me cringe, so I don't have a problem with it. Instead I will, sometimes wonder who created it and why and where is s/he now.

TPBM is excited by the challenges to be explored today.

message 8209: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments It depends on what those challenges are, which I don't know yet. Sometimes I procrastinate and sometimes I face them head on. We'll just have to wait and see how this day progresses.

TPBM is a night owl.

message 8210: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Sort of, in a limited way for an off night. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

TPBM carries a small red journal with them almost everywhere they go.

message 8211: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments I kind of did that as a habit for a little while only I kept it over a friend's house in case anything struck me for inspiration.

TPBM watches a LOT of YouTube.

message 8212: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I watch You Tube videos whenever my brain feels like mush. My favorite channels are What Culture, Buzz Feed, College Humor, and Cracked. I especially like Cracked's "Honest Advertisements" with Roger Horton. Those are hilarious. :)

TPBM thinks that Marcellus Black is an awesome name for a professional wrestler who used to play football.

message 8213: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments Yeah I guess so.

And Garrison it's funny that all the things you mentioned you watch on YouTube because I either watch all of them or used to watch them. What's the chance of that?? :D

TPBM is right now having some great time with family.

message 8214: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I just wolfed down my early Thanksgiving dinner with family, so I believe that counts.

And CJ, that is indeed a wonderful coincidence! Speaking of You Tube videos we both like...

TPBM laughed while watching College Humor’s “If Google Was a Guy” videos.

message 8215: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (last edited Nov 25, 2016 02:20PM) (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments That is a hilarious series! "Is baby powder made out of babies?" "You know it's not!!?" lol.

TPBM (like the person AM) loves most when the humor to something is done so stupid yet is funny!

message 8216: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments "Why do farts smell?"

"One of the most important painters of all time and you want to know why farts smell!"

Yes, I'd say that's accurate, CJ. Hehe!

TPBM was once referred to as a giant teddy bear.

message 8217: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments Nope can't say I have.

TPBM has gotten teary eyed at Simpsons episodes that tug at the heart strings (the ending of "Mother Simpson" from season 7 comes to mind).

message 8218: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I wouldn't necessarily say teary-eyed, but the episode about Homer's childhood dog Bongo comes to mind when I think of tugging at the heartstrings.

TPBM has at least one character in his or her stories named Corey.

message 8219: by Guy (last edited Nov 27, 2016 10:22PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do not.

TPBM now enjoys a food that they at one time loathed.

message 8220: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments It's not really a food, but I've learned to like plain chamomile tea. Sometimes it tastes like pool water, but it's better than caffeine any day of the week.

Whenever TPBM has an excess of money, he or she likes to donate some of it to a reputable charity.

message 8221: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Excess money? I wish! ;-) I do give to my local food bank.

TPBM is able to relax when standing in service line ups.

message 8222: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) As long as I'm not in a hurry or already in a bad mood.

TPBM thinks it's funny to read 1-star reviews of their favorite books, especially really popular/classic ones.

message 8223: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments Usually people who give one-star reviews so frequently have an axe to grind, so no, I don't particularly enjoy reading those.

One of TPBM’s self-destructive habits is peeling the white excess off of his or her fingernails as opposed to using clippers.

message 8224: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do not. At least not anymore, now that I'm advancing into being aged.

TPBM has at least one tattoo.

message 8225: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments Not even one. I have a low threshold for pain, so getting drawn on with a needle is out of the question.

TPBM has zero interest in playing fad games like Minecraft and Pokemon Go.

message 8226: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments Yep pretty much. I almost wanted to try out Minecraft then felt to not even bother because I heard it's become more geared toward kids.

TPBM when they don't think they will be able to play a certain video game instead watches let's plays of that game on YouTube.

message 8227: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments That became true with me when it came to Mortal Kombat. I tried it once, but sucked at it, so now I just use You Tube demonstrations of it for creative fuel. Holy cow, that's a lot of creative fuel!

TPBM has seen the movie Suicide Squad and loved it.

message 8228: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope, not seen, and so completely indifferent to the movie.

TPBM has heard the music of Alcoholic Faith Mission.

message 8229: by Garrison (new)

TPBM dropped something from their kitchen today and broke it.

message 8231: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments Thankfully, I haven't done that recently, let alone today.

TPBM has at least once shopped for Christmas presents as early as August.

message 8232: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not that I remember. I'm not even close to being that well organized.

TPBM is reading a book of poetry tonight, for a change.

message 8233: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments Not tonight. I'm getting ready to read a nonfiction book instead called "Titan Screwed". I hope it's good.

TPBM believes in the phrase “less is more”.

message 8234: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments Yeah I guess so.

TPBM isn't quite finished Christmas shopping yet.

It's funny, right when I was coming up with the above comment I saw an earlier of yours that said about that, hehe.

Nope haven't heard of them.

TPBM would listen to indie rock music than most of the popular "junk" playing out there today.

message 8237: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments It doesn't matter to me if the rock songs I listen to are mainstream or independent as long as they're good.

TPBM likes to give rhyming nicknames to his or her pets (examples from my life include Piper-Diaper, Saggy-Maggie, Tori-Dori, Smokey-Pokey, and Stitches-Bitches).

message 8238: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments The closest to that is when someone owns an adorable canine I call it a "doggy-woggy." Haha.

TPBM doesn't know what they want for Christmas.

message 8239: by Garrison (last edited Dec 21, 2016 02:00PM) (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I have a long list of books and CD's this year. Having a long list makes me easy to shop for. :)

TPBM is affected by ASMR triggers (tingling scalp sensations) and watches massage videos on You Tube to get the feeling.

message 8240: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I am not.

TPBM still listens to CDs and iPod as music source more than streaming.

message 8241: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments Yes, I do.

message 8244: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Umm . . . no?

TPBM does not have a fever?

message 8245: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I'd say that's pretty accurate, Lee.

TPBM is a fan of Alter Bridge.

message 8246: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4474 comments Just looked Alter Bridge up. I don't think I've heard their songs before.

TPBM has just seen a movie or plans to see one in the theaters soon!

message 8247: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10113 comments I'm dying to see The Lego Batman Movie, so that'll be a lot of fun when I eventually go. :)

TPBM once spoiled his or her dogs by feeding them Spam.
