Shelleyrae at Book'd Out | 145 comments Finally it seems Aamzon has decided that it is unfair for us to be charged $2.00 for the books they are offering free. I was looking at something else and realised that instead of Jeri Smith Ready's Wild Call being $2 it was now 0.
I checked out the freebie list and while there are a few books that still say unavailable like The Scent of Shadows others are now free.
The list is here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/...

Katey (kateyyy) i wish they'd lower the shipping rate for international orders when we order hard copies

Dee (austhokie) Katey - unfortunately I don't see that happening soon...there has been a steady rise in postal costs over the last 2 years...I used to be able to send a box of stuff to my mom in Australia for $50 (weighing about 20lbs or so) and the same box, this last time cost me $120...it is actually cheaper for me to get the pre-paid priority boxes or express boxes than to just send a normal one first class mail (which makes absolutely no sense to me)

Shelleyrae at Book'd Out | 145 comments Katey - for hard copies use bookdepository.co.uk or bookdepository.com - they don't charge postage to Australia :)

Katey (kateyyy) It's rediculous the amount of money we have to pay for things that we can't show for you know? Makes me so mad lol I just had to pay $400 for car rego!! It's burglary!

Yeah I'm gonna start using bookdepository now Amazon's going down the toilet lol

Dee (austhokie) its not just amazon, its the postal service in general...everything is rising in costs and now they are talking about cutting back service as well...its very fustrating and can only imagine for you guys how it is...especially with the price of books in the australia, which is ridiculous
