Name Ten Things That Make You Happy
Well this outta be interesting.
1. Glee. I think I'm at the point where I'm only watching it for the music, but I still love it.
2. My cello, Misha. I would be sad if I couldn't play regularly.
3. Life, the game. Sadly, I've lost most of the pieces.
4. Puppies. Who doesn't love puppies?
5. Love.
6. Yoga. Keeps me relaxed and just feeling good all-around.
7. Supernatural. Waiting for the next season is slowing killing me inside.
8. Baking cakes, simply because they're tasty.
9. Reading, since I am a book nerd and all.
10. Limericks. I listen to NPR's 'Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me' every week mainly for the limericks. :)

(RA. I agree. The other song in contention for favorite Wilco song is on that album too, but it's kind of tonally opposite - "I'm the Man Who Loves You".)

the panda escapes! they're clearly much smarter (and more flexible) than they let on.

RA, do you wake up just so you can pet your dogs or snuggle with them? I do that sometimes. Robby's always a good sport when I wake him to do that. I just can't help it.

The dogs are young enough to be crazy excited if I wake early, Heidi...this morning I let them out at 2AM and they peed for about a minute straight, so I think they were happy to see me up.

Here's three things that make me happy:

1. The smell of Russain Olive trees in bloom.
2. The smell of rain on hot pavement.
3. When strangers wave and say hello and are nice just because they see you with a baby so they think "hey, she's taking care of a little human, how bad could she be?" People are way friendlier now than I've ever seen them before. It is nice.

7. My dog's mature if anti-social decision to turn his back on the adorable but overeager Cairn Terrier puppy instead of trying to eat it when it charged him yesterday.

9. My rugby team, the Bulls, winning their semi-final this past Saturday.
