Key trilogy

The second book was definitely not the best. I really didn't like the female character Dana, and Jordan really annoyed me. Sometimes Roberts can pull off having her male characters be that cocky and obnoxious and the character is still likable, but I don't think Jordan was really endearing to me. Just annoying.

Tell me about the pagan stone trilogy. don't tell me about the book, just tell is it as good as I have made my mind up that it will be? I have set out to read next.

Amar I didn't enjoy the pagan stone trilogy as much as Key- the story is definitely more paranormal than NR is usually. The characters are also quite similar to those in the Key trilogy

Oh...that would be fantastic!!! Simon's story....it could be like a wrap up. Like Seth's story in the Quinn series!

sounds like a good suggestion to me lol even though I have no idea waht book these characters are in. (can you please tell so I can read it?)

I would also love to hear more about those Chesapeake families. Like she did with the Stanislaski family, extend it to the children and see how they all turned out!!

The Quinns, "Seaswept", "Rising Tides", "Inner Harbor" and "Chesapeake Blue"

Tamera you can give "reviews" on books as you mark them as read assuming you are keeping track of them on here and all you have to do is mark if the review has a spoiler and then people can choose if they want to read your review or not based on if it has spoilers.....

I am not getting rid of any or my books and still hope to collect the ones I do not have yet. just so I can read them again and again.

I have several books, not by NR, that I enjoy so much I reread those too. I have friends that say they couldn't stand to reread books. I just smile LOL

having problem with my computer replying to what you have written. Susan: THANK you I usually leave it blank but that is a great idea I have been trying to brush up on my writing skills. that will help me a lot. I am keeping all my books and hoping to collect the rest that I do not have. so I can read them over. Sometimes I buy, new, or yard sales and end up with duplicate books. Our library here in town only has a few of her books so I donate them to the library. They are popular so I am hoping it helps out. Not sure about your libraries but ours has take so many cut backs.

That is REALLY nice of you to do. Honestly, I just started using our library as I just got back into reading again after so many years. Ours got a major donation some years back and they actually built a new library, it's gorgeous and they have a shop where they sell used books too.

I have always read and so many books when I moved from Michigan to Ohio it became very apparent I need to get rid of some I had now where to put them all so I gave a large amount to the library. I am using the library a lot more then I used too. I used to buy all my books. But I do want to get all the Nora Roberts books and J.D Robb

True I agree with you there. I still have lots of books, unfortunately they are in two or three of those giant size plastic tubs. lol

I told my mom about the NR books I was reading now and she said she's got a bunch and has decided she's going to start keeping them too. That made me smile.
I'm reading the Born In series now, and on the last book.

I know exactly what you mean. I can relate to having piles of books on my table and in my room, most being Nora Roberts. This book was also my favorite. I also just love how in every story and series she writes, how she describes, not really the right word but it works, the male characters. Jordan was my favorite in all three so far, then brad.

I am finding this hard to get into BUT I've noticed that many of her books start hard to get into and then after the first 5 or ..."
I did at first, but once I got used to her style I realized that seemingly boring intro is her way of character building. Now that I know that, it doesn't both me at all. I realize going in that she's going to let me meet the characters first, problem second.

Yes, I don't know if she does that in all her books, but the first book in the Circle Trilogy was definitely like that as well. It does make sense in the first book of trilogies because most of the background work needs to be done there.
