Andrea | 69 comments OK, I'm currently reading Living Dead in Dallasand I'm getting a little impatient!
I've read so many comments on these forums about how everybody loves Eric and I'm just wondering when this love affair will start?? No spoilers.....I'm just curious as Eric hasn't had a very big part in the first 2 books so far and I don't know if i'm missing something! lol

Thanks :)

Jean Valjean (OG 2010) (courfeyrack) No worries babe. it'll make more sense as you go. Just be patient.

Jennifer | 4 comments I loved the series, and soon switched from loving Bill to loving Eric. I read thru them so quickly and couldn't put them down. Thinking about going back and taking my time reading them.

Joanne (needsun) | 32 comments I read up to number eight and decided to listen to them all again before getting to #9 and 10. The reader is great!

I agree! I also have them in audiobooks and the narrator is the best I've heard so far. She does an exceptional job reading Sookie's parts.

PS: Ditto on being a Bill fan but switched to Eric after book 3.

Jen ~The dreamer~ | 649 comments YES! Love the audio books!! I have all but the last 2 and they are fun to listen to!

Kelleigh (goodreadscomsunshine2047) I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that sookie forget Eric and hook up with a black dagger brother instead.

:)

woo hoo!

Jen ~The dreamer~ | 649 comments No way am I sharing the BDB with Sookie Stackhouse! LOL

I have to say I haven't really been that fond of Bill from the start! Not sure why exactly but that's why I am being impatient waiting for Eric to get all swoon-worthy! lol

Daniele Lanzarotta (danielelanzarotta) | 29 comments I don't know why, but I never liked Bill either. I guess there is just something 'fake' about Bill, as with Eric, what you see is what you get...

Gemma (bookmoodreviews) | 511 comments Never really liked Bill. I did like Sam but now Eric is my number one guy

message 20: by Kelleigh (new)

Kelleigh (goodreadscomsunshine2047) The thing that sucks is that I really did like Bill at first. Stupid Bill....

message 21: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Harris | 77 comments It's the way he talks. Bill just always sounded stupid. He didn't sound stupid in the books, but in the show - I mean, come on! - the way he says Sookie just goes all through me. And his whole stuck in the Civil War way of talking. Yuck.

And in the show (and somewhat in the books) he was always hiding his violent nature. Eric has always presented himself as a vampire, no expectation of humanity at all. Bill always tried to act like he was some kind of kinder and gentler vampire. Then goes and kills sookie's uncle or something.

Amber (crazyaboutbooks) | 27 comments I'm just starting #6 and think the books are amazing. I haven't watched the T.V show yet but what I have read so far leads me to say I'm a total Eric fan, Sam is growing on me and Could do with a lot less of Bill :D
