Authors Without A Yacht (AWaY) discussion

Yesterday, there were 37,000 ebooks being auctioned illegally on iOffer. Today there are 38,000 ebooks being offered.

That is how the rot sets in. A few people get away with breaking the law, and more people either are emboldened or think that it must be okay to do since so many others are doing it.

Folks, report these sales. They look too good to be true because they are too good to be true. They are illegal.

If you buy an ebook from a publisher, you have the right to read it. You do not have the right to auction 10 copies of it in every auction period on iOffer for the rest of your life.

If someone sells one ebook, once, maybe they are misinformed about their rights. If they offer to sell the same book more than once.... they are criminals.

I sent iOffer an email, but like most companies they really want you to jump through hoops to report copyright infringements. It is ridiculous.
