Nadia is named after a greek water nymph. She grew up having some strange connection with water, she was on a swim team and had no siblings. Her mother was single and dated a lot until finally when Nadia was eleven she got remarried and came to camp. Nadia is now fifteen. She hates be called Nadia because the name is so diffrent. She is firece and independent and you have to prove yourself worthy of friendship. She's got a nasty reputation of an wicked fighter, stubborn and doesn't give in easily. But she's also a little social butterfly but can have a mouth on her at times. Do not PO her. She's a firce fencer and knows a little bit about street fighting, she hates losing and is VERY persistent. Never gives up until her last breath. She has a pet dog who loves swimming. This is Coal Adrian Ivashvoc, her 2 year old dog who she named after the character in her favorite series VA. Nadia wishes to be called Nat, or Diva. She wears a general vicinety from polka dotted skirts to jeans and t-shirts.

Looks: Tomas is of medium build with no impressive muscles. His stormy blue eyes could send someone scuttling away at a glance. His brown hair hangs down to slightly cover one of his eyes. He has a thin scar on his right cheek, but no one knows how he got it.

Personality: Tom is slightly depressed. He hates talking too much and would rather be spending time in water, where he feels himself. His mood swings depend on the amount of water he's had or been in that day. If he's dehydrated, watch out. He'll lash out at no one in particular for almost no reason. On a good day, he's very considerate and caring. He loves pulling tricks and making people laugh. He does have a caring side for those he loves. Tom will do anything to help them.
Other: Tom is an excellent archer. He also has some skill in a spear. His only weakness is in sword fighting.

Maren has extremely short loose blonde curls and clear, bright blue eyes. She has a childish face that works with the rest of her small features. She is short, yet lithe and athletic. She has skin that is tanned nicely from hours spent out on the beach in the sunlight, and she never gets a sunburn. She is always smiling unless something really brought her down.
Personality: She is very talkative. If you get her going she will rant on and on for hours about nothing in particular. She absolutely loves water and demands to be in it almost every moment of every day. She is very demanding, but she does it in a sweet way so that no one can deny her what she wants. She worries for others almost to an obsessive point and doesn't like it when there is something not shared with her. She is touchy, but will spring back from a down mood vigourously.

She has shoulder-length black hair with natural curls. With a both ears peirced, she loks like your regular trouble-maker, which she is. She has carmel-colored skin with pale finger tips. One look at her and you think she's feirce.

Name: Jeanne-Claire Meridian

Personality/History: Jeanne-Claire was born to her single mother, Marie-Claire, in Nice, France. She always loved living near the Mediterranean, and felt at home while in the sea. Her mother, however, had an unexplained brush with death when Jeanne-Claire was just seven years old. She recovered, but was never quite the same afterwards, and Jeanne-Claire was left to take care of an invalid mother. What might have made some girls cringe and shirk their schoolwork made Jeanne-Claire all the stronger.

Just after Jeanne-Claire graduated high school, Marie-Claire died, leaving everything to her daughter in her will. Jeanne-Claire buried her mother by the sea.

For some reason she didn't even know, Jeanne-Claire took to her head that she needed to get to the US. With nothing but a high school diploma and what was in the bank after selling the house, Jeanne-Claire made her was to the US. The satyrs quickly found her and convinced her to move to Camp Half-Blood, where she lives year-round. She has only met her father once, when she was buryin her mother-- but she prefers to keep their conversation to herself.

Jeanne-Claire wears a thin gold necklace with a seashell shaped from coral, gifted to her by Poseidon.

Name: Amanda Holly Summer
Looks: Natural black hair with a few dark blue streaks that reaches mid-waist. Approximately five feet tall. She has hazel eyes that change color from time to time, along with a medium tan. Amanda doesn't really care about how she looks, so she usually wears unique abstract shirts that expresses her creativity. Besides that, she mostly wears casual clothing like faded jeans and a t-shirt, yet it looks colorful. Sometimes, Amanda puts her hair in a messy ponytail, but she does nothing else with her hair.

Personality: She loves making people laugh, and she's usually random and happy. A bit childish, but can be mature and calm when she needs to. Sharp, bright, and caring, but can be VERY sarcastic. Especially when someone insults or is rude to her friends. She can be very argumentative, and come up with good points and facts, although public speaking isn't her forte. Amanda doesn't have the best memory, and isn't that good at drawing, painting, etc. But, she loves reading and writing. It also calms her down when she gets angry about something, along with playing her violin. Amanda is independent, even though she has many friends. She prefers to do things her own way.
She's proud to be weird, random, and unique in her own way.

Other: Best at swordsmanship, and her reflexes are a bit faster than an average demigod(if you can call a demigod average). Good at archery too. Her weapon is a silver hilted sword with a long navy blue blade. The hilt has the appearance of a trident, as Amanda's father is Poseidon. The weight of it is perfect for her, not too light, not too heavy. And when she's not in combat, the sword reverts into a turquoise/silver beaded bracelet.

History: Amanda stays at Camp Half-Blood yearlong because her mom was never found. She left Amanda waiting in front of school one day and it wasn't reported. A satyr found her walking home(Amanda didn't bother telling anyone that her mom didn't pick her up), which was located ten blocks away, and took her to Camp Half-Blood. Since then, she's been as happy as she could be, but still wonders about her mom.

You need complete sentences and better grammar. If he's ill tempered, wouldn't he also be mean, since he's so temperamental?

How and when did his parents die? If his parents are dead, then surely he lives year round at CHB. Please, fix your character.

Use complete sentences. His personality is contradictory. Fix it. If he's nice, how is he also rude? Like, surely of he's rude to everyone, there would be no one to be nice to, since no one would want to get to know him.

You need to make a longer history. No "supposedly"s. if his parents (parent, rather, since his father is clearly Poseidon) are dead, surely he'd just go to CHB year round. So school?

History: KImberly's mother died when she gave birth to her and KImberly lived in an orphanage until she was 8 when she was sent off to a boarding school for 'gifted' children. When she was 12 a satyr befreinded her and took her to chb.

1. Eyes don't change colour at will. They're affected by lighting.
2. The personality gets redundant and it needs to be in complete sentences (in re: the last part). He also seems kind of overpowered and he doesn't seem to have a lot of faults. Also, why would Hephaestus be speaking to him? e_o Like, I doubt he'd even pay attention to a son of Poseidon, let alone compliment him.
3. Fix the grammar and spelling in the history. Write in complete sentences. Add detail, because the entire thing just sounds really sketchy. "AND THE REST WAS HISTORY" doesn't cut it.
4. The other section could go under personality.

1. Eye colour would be considered hazel at best. Fix the grammar (spaces go after punctuation).
2. Honey, everyone at CHB is ADHD. Expand on her personality. How does she act with friends or with enemies or with strangers or with people of higher status?
3. KImberly? Fix the grammar and the spelling.
4. If fountains and crap explode around her, she would have probably been expelled if they determined her to be the cause, not to mention the fact that they would have probably called the police. If she has a temper, sure, call her whatever you want, but if things are exploding and causing harm to students, she'd be kicked out so fast.
5. CHB should be capitalised.

Ashiay has long black hair that she's gotten into the habit of sweeping up into a bow. Her skin very pale, like she hasn't been in the sun for years. Her upper body is riddled with tattoos and piercings, her way of "branching out." Her eyes are a deep gray color, but it shines a bit more brightly when she's in the sun. She's not all that tall, and she has a more coke bottled figure than hour glass.
Personality| Ashiay is hard to define, except that she can be very shy and quiet. She's a little awkward, and most of what she says is just her babbling away with nervousness. She likes to keep to herself mostly, but she knows how to keep people entertained, even if it's just her making a fool of herself. She has her moments of brooding though, in which she's just a bitch to everyone around her. But those moments are few.

History:
Ashiay spent a good deal of her childhood going through the system. Her mother had gotten ill when she was six, and died after several months in the hospital. She never had the chance to meet Poseidon like other children had, and she doesn't particularly care.
She came to CHB after she was attacked. She still doesn't know what it was that attacked her, and doesn't want to.

Name: Azure Patricia Cross
Nickname: As a child, her friends used to call her Zure or Zurie, but now as a fifteen year old she isn't really a fan of nicknames. Her name was the name her mother chose for her; the least she could do to honour her mom is to keep her given name. She'd answer to Patricia too, as it's her middle name, but as not many people know that her middle name is Patricia they don't bother calling her anything but Azure.
Age: Fifteen
Birthday: Azure was born on what would be sunny day in July; to be exact, the fifth of July at about 12:30 am. She was supposed to arrive on Independance Day but she came late. Funnily enough, she always tries to be early for everything.
Gender: Female
Years at Camp: She has been at camp for over three long, long years. Her anniversary of arriving at camp is her birthday; she arrived at camp after grueling month on the road the day she turned twelve.
Ethnicity: She’s American, descended from Europeans; actually, she is descended from Virginia Dare, one of the first European to set foot on American soil.
Status: Year rounder, as she can’t really go home. Her mother was killed by a monster when they were going to the local store, and that’s when eleven-year-old Azure took the address card her school satyr had given her and headed for Camp Half-Blood, after taking her mother’s wallet. It’s not stealing, not when the person you will thieve from is dead.
Physical Appearance: Whenever you see her, you get the feeling that Azure has spent the day hanging out on the beach, even though she doesn’t really visit the golden sands of Camp Half-Blood any more. She has long blonde hair that falls down her back, sea green eyes, arched eyebrows which stand out on her face, long eyelashes and an ivory complexion often masked by a tan and countless freckles. She hates her freckles. Come to think of it, she hates every part of her looks. Azure could be considered pretty, although she’d never admit it herself, because she’s a blonde and the stereotypes that circle blondes wouldn’t allow her to. She stands at a height of 5’8”. She is not thin, slender, curvy or wiry like a Barbie doll, or fat, big-boned, solid and heavy-framed like a whale, but somewhere in between. She doesn’t wear make-up, however she does have a liking for jewellery.
Dressing Style: Azure dresses how she wants, but often in white or her camp tee. She prefers jeans or t-shirts to long dresses or miniskirts. She isn’t exactly a dumb blonde mean girl and dresses in the way she feels comfortable. Azure is never seen without her grey-blue hat, which perches on her head at a jaunty angle. Azure only has one dress; a long, straight-down, full-length thing the same colour as her hat, which she will wear even to a fancy Cinderella-esque ball no matter how much fuss is made. Azure is a fan of jewelry, and wears a number of bangles and bracelets on her right arm, always the same necklace (her Camp Half-Blood beads) and every now and then maybe a fancy hairclip or something to tie away her long blonde hair. Speaking of hair, Azure isn’t too fussed about how she should style it, pulling her long blonde locks into a long ponytail day after day after day. She, unlike many girls at camp, actually likes her orange camp t-shirt and wears it as much as possible.
Personality: Azure tries to be optimistic, happy and as immature as a fifteen year old can be, but she has always been a shy person even before the discovery of her status in life as a demigod, preferring to recline in the corner with her sketchpad and pencil. She always worries about everything, from monsters getting through the borders of camp to her cabin being struck by lightning in the middle of the night and crushing her and her half-siblings. Azure never seems to have time for trivial things such as shopping or gossiping, although she would enjoy fitting in with other girls her age, as she is always trying to do everything, see everything and help everyone. Her powers still are very temperamental even after three years training at camp, for there aren’t many in Poseidon cabin, at least not as many as there are in, say, Aphrodite’s cabin. Being a pessimist, she never sees the bright side and always works as though she might die tomorrow; hey, it’s possible she might just drop dead this minute, isn’t it? People don’t really notice, however, that Azure isn’t really a very normal fifteen-year-old, because when she ventures out of her bubble she’s able to cover the shy, worried little mouse that she really is and fit in with other people (other people not referring to the Aphrodite cabin’s inhabitants). She manages to hide her true nature very well after years of practice and trying; she understands other people very well even though she is always hiding behind what she calls ‘the other Azure’. This is just hiding two things about her; her shy personality and her abilities that would make her a mean-and-popular high school bully. These are her sadistic, sarcastic remarks and the fact that she’s a good liar. When, perchance, she goes and says something or does something snake-like, she is always apologizing, although being as worried of offending people as she is she says ‘sorry’ after about everything she says.

Rational Fears: Failure
Azure has innumerable fears, both rational and irrational, but her biggest fear is failure, especially in the eyes of her friends and respected ones. If she, say, made a fool of herself and her father grew to know about it, she’d be embarrassed to no end and probably wouldn’t show her face.
Irrational Fears: Fire
Fire can put out even the largest waves which crash onto golden sands, and so as a daughter of Poseidon is extremely freaked out by even a tiny flame from a candle. It’s irrational, people tell her, she hasn’t done anything to Hestia or Hephaestus, but either way she’s always very wary whenever seeing Hestia poking the campfire.
Fatal Flaw: Fear
Azure is feared by everything; she has all sorts of phobias ranging from heights to fire to isolation. Let’s say she was on the battlefield, and she was faced with one of her fears, there’s be no way she’d make an asset in a war.
Philosophy: “Manners maketh the man.”
Azure, like her mother and her grandmother before her, is a stickler for manners, although if she had been brought up in a different household she probably wouldn’t have turned out that way.
History: Mariah Cross, a nineteen-year-old store clerk, was behind the counter of the hardware store selling magnets, torch batteries and toolboxes. Mariah had always been able to see things that nobody else could see; she could see through the ever-thickening mist. She was arguing with a customer about the prices of a box of nails, when the most good-looking person she had ever seen entered the store. He stood in line and when his turn arrived asked Mariah if she had any fishing nets or nylon ropes for sale. The flustered Mariah nodded without a sound and pointed at where the fishing nets and nylon ropes were, the man purchased several, donned his hat (a fishing cap with ‘NEPTUNE’S LUCKY FISHING HAT’) and left the store.

Maybe it was Mariah’s imagination, but she began seeing the man everywhere; she caught herself daydreaming about him when she should be swiping barcodes on hardware items. (She was later fired for daydreaming on the job and found a store needing help by the sea.) Sooner or later she bumped into the same man at the beach, holding a trident and a fishing net. Naturally, she asked him politely why he held it, and he tried to convince her that she didn’t see what she could see. After Mariah had proven herself to be stubborn about what she could see, Poseidon (for that was the man, obviously) asked her out and they started – you know.

Sooner or later Poseidon told Mariah that he had to leave and that when the baby was old enough, she should take him or her to Camp Half-Blood. Mariah cried herself to sleep for a week and soon discovered that she was carrying Azure. She went to her mother Rhea for comfort. Mariah was given that and so much more from her mother. When the baby was born Mariah and Rhea debated for hours on the name. Rhea wanted the name of her own mother, Patricia, but Mariah scoffed and insisted on the more exotic, elegant name Azure. Eventually Rhea, realizing that there was no swaying her stubborn daughter, let Mariah have her way and so the girl was named Azure. To please her mother, Mariah added Patricia as a middle name.

Azure grew up in a busy household. Her mother and grandmother were sticklers for manners; you’d think that the regular dinner guests were the Queen of England, the President, Victoria Beckham and other rich, posh people. Despite the fussy nature about manners she had picked up at home, Azure kept her cool at school and actually had quite a few friends.

Then her grandmother died. Rhea Cross died in her sleep one night. She had been ill for a year, and Azure every day would run up and down the stairs in the Cross house to care for her grandmother. There was no delaying death, but Azure was deeply saddened, and so she took some coins out of her coin collection and placed them in Rhea’s ice-cold fist. Little did she know that one of those coins – the coin she had dug up in her backyard – was a Greek drachma.

Back to school, the now ten-year-old Azure was drifting away from her friends, who had formed a ‘popular’ clique and were doing things that Azure (and her mother) disapproved of. She got through elementary school fine, meeting and befriending a satyr who gave her a Camp Half-Blood business card. The satyr asked Azure to go to camp if anything bad happened. At the start of summer vacation went by. On her eleventh birthday she went with her mother to a candy store, her mother wanting some sugar and Azure wanting some Reese’s cups and several other candy. They bought the candy and left the store to find the Chimera in their way. Everyone else seemed to think that it was a dog. Mariah pulled Azure to run but Azure, petrified, could not move from where she was. Mariah pushed her daughter out of the way only to give herself up to the brutal Chimera.

Azure tentatively took her mother’s wallet and ran. She lived in the New Orleans area, and had to make the journey to Long Island with no adult supervision. Azure soon met an old woman in Utah who was in need of assistance, so Azure decided to take care of her for a few years. The woman reminded her of Rhea Cross. So for seven months Azure cared for the woman; until the death of the woman. Sooner or later she arrived at camp after a long year on the road, and was claimed by Poseidon.

Weapon of Choice: Azure is a pacifist through and through, but when fighting is necessary she takes a brutal approach with a Celestial bronze sword. It has been used over and over again by generations of half-bloods therefore has scratches, dents and various names in the blade. It feels perfect in her hands.
Relationship Status: Single, and would prefer to stay that way as long as possible. She doesn't really like boys and finds them annoying although she may or may not like someone. She'd never admit it though.
Other:
~Azure is a neat-freak, and always cleans up Poseidon cabin, trying to make the cabin spotless. She doesn’t like sleeping in dirty conditions.
~She can never sleep in a rainstorm.
~When there is some great disaster somewhere in the world Azure cries for the lives of people she doesn’t even know.

~She also hates frills, low-cut clothes and surprisingly enough, horses.
